Better day — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I tried the Beef Focaccia and Batch Brew. The Batch Brew is one of the best I’ve had in Brisbane – it’s perfectly balanced between nutty and fruity flavours. The focaccia is generous in portion and the beef is cooked tender. However, the bread and sauces are a bit of a letdown. Classic "hidden away small shop look and vibe" could do with a few touches but pleasant. The September special toasty was all kinds of what the doctor ordered..... Or warned me about.... Either way.... Delicious. Lovely creamy hot chocolate but the iced coffee left a little to be wanting.

Overall.... A nice place to grab a tasty bite and a refresher. Will be going back hopefully before the September...

I was really looking forward to brunch/coffee as this place has come highly recommended according to the reviews. When we walked in we were told literally just this - "ticked items are available" and the server shoved a menu at us and walked off... There was a fruit bowl and chicken available. At 8.30am. We couldn't get past the rude service so we left. I'm sure the coffee is lovely but I'll never go...
