A local family favourite! The best authentic Thai food, great interior design and most welcoming, friendly staff.
Highly recommend for every occasion! Birthdays, Work parties, Family gatherings, Friends reunion, etc.. Thai Naramit is undoubtedly the best Thai restaurant in Brisbane! (Chefs kiss🤌🏽) My family and I have been going here for 5 years. We’ve celebrated almost every special occasion here from birthdays, anniversaries to high school graduations because the place ALWAYS goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. Not only is the food exquisite (The most flavourful Thai food we’ve ever had.. even recommended by the Thai community) but the staff also know how to bring it on. For my 17th birthday my parents took me to Thai naramit to celebrate. Honestly, I was just expecting the casual delicious meal but NO! To my overjoyed surprise they brought balloons, (when we ordered dessert) they brought out the mango sticky rice with candles and birthday signs; the lovely staff SERENADED us with their beautiful ‘happy birthday’ singing voices! The whole restaurant ended up joining in the serenade.. even the manager and owner!! WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL SPECIAL! The staff are so lovely and considerate. They do this out of good service! When I asked my parents if they had anything to do with it they said they didn’t know they would do this. I see them doing this for many of their customers birthday celebration!! So if you want great food and lovely service to treat your special occasion, THAI NARAMIT is definitely the way to go!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Well done 👍🏽 Forever a fan of this lovely family of...

It was pouring down rain, and I was driving around looking for a Thai restaurant opened for lunch on a Monday. I found one! This beauty caught my eye because of the beautiful decor and the vibrant bar area outside. Although it was raining, I could hear the groups of people, chatting and laughing inside the restaurant. I immediately thought they must have good Thai food here because it was packed out.
I ran from my car to the restaurant and they luckily had one table free. As I sat down dripping with rain, I chose a Pad See Ew from their diverse lunch menu.
It was refreshing, sitting back and listening to the other patrons, share their stories and comment on their superb meals.
The two ladies waiting on me were great. It felt as if I were in Thailand, nestled away in a fancy Thai restaurant. My meal came out and it was lovely. Served on a traditional Thai plate accompanied by chopsticks. My drink was served in fancy glass with an umbrella on top.
I love eating Thai with chopsticks. Especially when it tastes this good. It was hot, fresh, and A1 quality. I enjoyed every bite.
Thanks, Beam and Rachel, for your great service and the chefs for cooking a...

In saying this we waited nearly an hour to get our entrees and two hours to get our mains and all our meals came at different times. We were not the only guests that waited this long. It was clear that they were past their capacity to offer any civilised food service. Other patrons on a larger table waited for others to get their meals, meanwhile theirs getting cold.
Drink service was just as appalling as when you finally got a waiters attention they got only half your order. We never received our water I. The two hours we were asking for it.
When the bill came there was no sorry for making you (and the rest of the patrons) wait two hours for your meal. I have to refuse to accept to pay for the prawn crackers got for my 90 year old Aunt who was starting to feel faint by about 9pm with still no food.
Not worth going if the wait alone doesn’t put you off, the westernised version of Thai should.
Nothing special about this place at all and will be advising people to save their hard earned money for a better...
