=== From 2024 === The coffee here is awesome. Fantastic texture, consistent to the end, dark caramel sweetness to the Crema. Awesome. We ordered one standard latte and flat white. Came hot and quickly. Also ordered the Croissant 🥐 special and the brew'd brekky. Both were awesome, full of great flavour and hot! 😉 === From 2023 === The corn fritters! Delightful. My sparkly lady 💖 and i came here for breakfast, just driving past. We ordered a hot latre, an iced latte, the corn fritter breaky and the mushroom breaky. The latte was smooth, a mild Crema on top. Consistent milk texture to the end. I prefer a stronger blend. But great coffee! The mushroom breakfast (standard) was lovely. While i might prefer more mushrooms, the blend of ingredients was very tasty. Unfortunately, the meal arrived cold, or perhaps cooler than it should have been. The corn fritters meal (extra bacon and haloumi) and avocado mix were to die for. Really fantastic combination and large chunks of tomato, with a zesty lemony finish to the avo blend. A perfect combination. ,⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 Good service. Not really a 4.8 star, the latte in a take away cup, and the cool meal = 4 star.

Brew’d Awakening Cafe, just off Toombul Road on the eastern side of the Northgate rail tracks, is a haven for the caffeine-starved masses, steadily carving out its place in Brisbane’s suburban coffee underbelly. The brews are delicious as is the food (make sure you check the daily specials board for some unexpected gems). The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, with a lovely community buzz. Locals roll in, families and workers alike, all seeking out their next fix of caffeine or a bite to eat. The Northgate suburb is on the rise - young families moving in left, right, and centre. And this café fits that family-friendly vibe like a glove. Ideal for catching up with friends, stealing a quiet moment with a good book, or getting some work done in a relaxed space. Out back, there’s outdoor seating that opens onto a small grassy area. A small addition - perhaps some play equipment for the kids— - could make it even more inviting for families. Just a subtle touch to enhance an already pleasant experience. So, if you’re travelling down Melton Road in Northgate, do yourself a favor. Stop in. Grab a coffee. Enjoy the calm. Highly recommended.

What a great little spot. I was not expecting a coffee shop with so much character a d pace on Melton Road. The staff were amazingly friendly and quick to serve me. I think this little has great potential to become a really popular little place. It has ample seating indoors and outdoors and I loved the little personal touches like little blankets over the outdoor chairs etc. This shop feels like it is a beacon for many people to feel welcomed and to have a little happy moment in their busy day. Please support this little cafe. I think the owner’s have put a lot of thought into trying to create a homely ambiance. I arrived there early on a Monday morning which is why my photos show an empty cafe but I am sure that this cafe gets busy around midday and on weekends. Be sure to see the back garden area too if you like to sit outdoors.

This café is a true local gem, loved by everyone in the area. I visited right at their 6 AM opening, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and friendliness. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for starting the day on a high note.

The seating options are versatile, with both indoor and outdoor areas thoughtfully arranged to accommodate families. There’s plenty of space to relax, and if you venture out to the backyard, you’ll find even more tables, making it an ideal spot to bring your furry friends along.

The coffee was exceptional—rich, aromatic, and crafted with care. It was one of the best I’ve had in a while. I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but based on my experience, I’m already planning to come back for a meal.

Whether you’re a local looking for a reliable go-to café or just passing through, this spot is well worth a visit. It’s a place that leaves you feeling welcome and...
