Busy Camp 营地很忙 BBQ — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I recently had a meal at Busy Camp BBQ, and it was a mixed experience. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, which sets the stage for an enjoyable meal. They're certainly generous with portion sizes, which is a big plus.

The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service from one of the female staff members. She was attentive and made sure we were enjoying our food, which added a personal touch to the meal.

However, I have to be honest; the skewers, though plentiful, didn't quite meet my expectations. Some of the meat, like the pork belly and chicken gizzards, were a bit tough for my liking. The dishes with chili powder had a bitter taste, which affected the overall experience.

On a positive note, I'd highly recommend trying the steamed scallops with garlic. They come with a generous portion of garlic sauce that really enhances the dish and stands out on the menu.

When we sat down we were required to write a positive review to receive a 2 scallops for $1 deal, however had to do it before the food even came out. They also take a photo of your phone showing your review which felt strange and uncomfortable. The food was nice however expensive ($80 for 2 people) and the small portions made it definitely not worth it. The food came out very slow even though the restaurant was almost empty and the majority of the dishes which were already small were bulked up with noodles. Had dinner tonight here and had such a lovely experience! We ordered the skewers which were fresh and tasty and came out quite fast as well. The staff were also attentive and friendly, especially one of the male staff (I think he was the owner?) who asked us how everything was after we were finished.
