A heartwarming little store perfect for a quick but filling and tasty bite to eat.
I had the combination egg noodles as pictured, it was a hearty serving of very delicious broth and an assortment of meats including prawn, fish cakes, and what I believe are pork strips? Loved the soup but it made me very thirsty after having it, which makes me think there might be quite a bit of MSG or similar flavouring added. My friends who had the beef pho felt the same. I have no issue with MSG but too much really dries out my throat and I'd rather get the true flavour of the broth from whatever meat it's made from.
The service was good; down to earth and friendly staff members who were patient and accurate with the orders.
The restaurant itself is clean and cosy, reminiscent of the roadside restaurants back in my home country in Southeast Asia. Loved the vibe and it was a comfortable setting for me and my friends to chat over dinner.
My only qualm besides the potential MSG added is that there weren't any vegetarian mains at all. I think it's very difficult to get vegetarian Asian food in general but I really love and usually revisit restaurants that serve good vegetarian dishes so it would have been great if there were some present here. If that's not an issue for you this is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing this review regarding the post from one of my customer- Soulla who ordered the Spicy Beef and Special Beef noodle soups from our restaurant via Uber Eats. Firstly, I truly appologise for what happened to your order. The council visited my restaurant yesterday and we went through all the process from A to Z. We has been ordered the meat from Darra Meat supplier over 8 years which are quality meats. We never use cheap meat from supermarket deli as what you have mentioned on your post. Besides, our beef noodle soup except the spicy beef soup, always come with sliced rare beef as it is our traditional Vietnamese Beef Soup which usually served with half cooked sliced rare beef. Moreover, we did make a warning on Uber Eat that the soup is supposed to be heated up so if you put the rare beef in hot soup it will be half cooked beef just like our traditional vietnamese beef soup. And we never put chicken into our beef soup so I think this is the first time you order from us. Therefore there is a misunderstand between us. Please come to our restaurant and we will serve you better. We are so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt usually do posts like this but I feel like I kind of have to. Iām creating this post/review for a restaurant called āPho Siagonā to not only warn people to NOT order from there but to also expose them for the food I received last night via Uber Eats. Last night my husband and I ordered two beef pho soups and we got two completely random soups ā¦(pictures below). One bowl of soup had cheap slices of processed chicken loaf from a supermarket deli (probably worth 10 bucks a kilo) with little bits of pork. The other bowl of soup had the same cheap slices of deli meat (this time roast beef), the same pieces of pork and also two meats that were completely RAW. One of them was a weird thinly sliced beef, I put it in the soup and it did darken a little on the edges but still remained very raw. The second meat was RAW CHICKEN, completely RAW pieces of chicken, mixed in a container with the other meat Iāve listed. I did get a refund thanks to Uber Eats but this place needs to be audited pronto! They might make someone...
