I’m overall, the atmosphere was great.. the service at the start was great. My partner loved his food, now I don’t leave reviews rarely but in this situation I need to. I went to counter to place our order to the nice lady at the counter of my order which was confirmed. Then we sat down with my niece and partner, we understood that it was busy and usually we are happy to wait… waiting 45 minutes though is a stretch. Myself, partner and niece all went up on different occasions to ask how much longer, well we ended up getting our food half of it anyway. All this time my order wasn’t on the receipt.
Of course I wasn’t happy and I do except the lady’s apologies but unfortunately we came to eat, I didn’t. This is a learning curve for the establishment and myself to double check your own orders and to clarify orders on both ends. Today it was busy, we all make mistakes. Food was a 5 star Atmosphere was 5 Service wasn’t...
Read moreAs a delivery driver, I want to share why it’s so important for restaurants to be on time with orders. Drivers don’t get paid to sit around waiting 15–20 minutes after an order was supposed to be ready. When staff say, “It’s ready,” but it’s not, it creates a chain reaction of problems: • The customer ends up frustrated with delays. • The driver takes a hit on their ratings, even though it’s not their fault. • Other deliveries get pushed back, creating more late orders.
Restaurants need to train their staff properly to only mark an order ready when it actually is. Otherwise, drivers keep a mental “black book” of places to avoid because of constant delays. This eventually hurts the restaurant’s reputation — both with drivers and with customers who get tired of long waits.
Being on time isn’t just about keeping drivers happy; it’s about better service, better reviews, and more repeat business for...
Read moreGood menu and appears reasonably priced at first, but servings are smaller than you would get elsewhere. Staff were friendly but made a mistake with our friends' order whose food hadn't appeared even when my wife and I had already finished, so after I inquired about it they realised their error, were very apologetic and brought the remaining dishes out as quickly as they could, but in the wrong order (dessert before the main). They realised their mistake here too and apologised again. I ordered the A.C.E. which was $20.90 for chicken, avo, haloumi, two poached eggs and one slice of sourdough, but it was only a quarter of an avo and maybe half of a chicken thigh...and they forgot the haloumi. Ordered the apple crumble with ice cream ($6.50) from the window so that our friends didn't feel rushed to eat after us, but was charged $7.50 (apparently the ice cream is an undisclosed $1.00 extra for a...
