Good little park in central Taigum. It's a nice green spot in a sea of houses in every direction. A leaflet put out this week by Brisbane City Council stated that a free Karate and self-defense session is being conducted on the 14th of August 2021. I wonder if it is a monthly thing or is it a gimmick to try to recruit members into a local karate club, food for thought. Only one way to find out, and that is turn up for the single session at least and then get the knowledge and fitness benefit and work away after a hood workout with no obligation or join a club if it tickles your fancy. The park also has a undercover seating area that gives you a nice shady spot with which to enjoy the green space. Read moreMulbeam Park is a great park with lots to keep kids occupied including 3 different playgrounds, many huge trees to climb which also offer plentiful shade, a large basketball court and a tennis practice wall. There is a twin hotplate electric barbecue and plenty of seating for families to have gatherings. Public toilet facilities at the park are also well maintained by the Council!. For special needs visitors, the park also has a wheelchair Liberty swing - this is locked with a key accessible through the Council.
