Pizza Hut Taigum — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The worst pizza I've ever had. Their pizza hut good reputation has gone down with the experience I had here. Firstly the ordering system was not very good. It took my order, then payment allegedly went through but when I arrived they'd not heard of my order. The wearing of the mask in OH&S for covid was not adhered to. There was a young child running around in the back area near the preparing and cooking area. I was shocked to see that the dark skinned female employee,was walking out out the back with her long curly hair either fully out or in a fluffy ponytail.

After much confusion re my order, and a phone call with the owner, I think, I finally ordered my pizza. I ordered 3 pizza, a drink and a side. $34.00 I think. The side was potato gems, they weren't cooked well enough and they were cold. One was still slightly frozen..all 3 pizzas were burnt on the bottom and around the edges on top. The base had bubbled up snd it was blackened. It was not very edible. I did take some pictures but they've gone from my phone. The pizzas took a long time to be ready.

Upon rating them it was like biting into leather they were so tough. One one of the pizzas, it tasted as if it was double baked, eg when a pizzas has been refrigerated after it was cooked then reheated. The cheese on top was evidenced as if it was cooked, refrigerated or frozen them recooked. I threw each one away in the bin when only a couple of pieces had been eaten.

The only good thing was the drink!!!

I also threw out the Potato Gems. I cannot remember what PizzaHut named them.

I haven't had a pizza hut pizza for a few years now and I was so looking forward to eating them as I always said, they were always much better than Dominos but not now.... my mind has been changed !!! Whilst I was in the store for well over 35 mins, only one person came in and ordered one pizza. The phone didn't ring once. And the child kept noisly running around out in the food area. I cannot find the pics I took, but that's OK as I won't be going to pizzahut ever again. Thank you...

Last month, I ordered over the phone (as I have done mostly to avoid the wait times.) only to come home to find that my regular lasagna was not at all properly cooked. (My pizza and garlic bread was not properly cooked either.) Had to drive back and get staff to re do the order.)

Last night, I checked that my food was cooked properly, it seemed fine yet I ended up violently vomiting half an hour after ingesting it. Not a good experience at all as I hardly ever vomit I'm m not at all happy. I am certain that mine is not an isolated case.

I used to be a regular here all the time. The lovely Indian family who ran it for many years always kept orders correct and safe to consume... Not at all safe it seems any longer with the new owners.

I will not be purchasing any more food from here sadly. I am very disappointed with the sharp decline in proper service at Pizza Hut Taigum.

Disappointing Experience – Burnt Pizza and Poor Customer Service I recently ordered four pizzas from Pizza Hut Taigum and was extremely disappointed. After picking up our order and driving 30 minutes home, we opened the boxes to find every pizza was overcooked to the point of being burnt. My kids refused to eat them, and sadly, their first slices went straight into the bin. I immediately contacted the store and asked to speak with the manager. His response was that the traditional base was “just out of the proofer,” which is why it looked the way it did. He did offer to remake the pizzas, but expecting me to drive another hour to pick them up wasn’t reasonable. When I requested a refund, he refused.
