If I could, I would give 0 stars!!!!!!!! The service is getting worse and worse ( for example… somehow even though you will wait as if they are making everything fresh you still get your food at a lukewarm temp if you are lucky). Tonight was possibly one of the worst experiences through that drive through that I had to leave a review even though I haven’t been happy with them for a while. Firstly it’s not a very busy GYG but somehow you will spend at least 10min waiting just to pay?!?? What happened tonight was that i ordered my food, repeated my order at least twice (because they have gotten it wrong in the past). After patiently waiting for my turn to pay (not even get my food) I am finally handed a bag with a burrito- mind you I said spicy burrito bowel at least 3 times prior to getting to the pay window. I look at my food and wait for the lady at the window to look at me again (since she barely even looked at me when she passed me the food then closed the window). I tell her I order a burrito BOWEL and she just looks at me blankly and says sorry and pretty much goes ahead to close the window. Acacia ridge is my local gyg and I swear after this experience I might drive a little further out for my food since I wouldn’t get getting it hot from acacia ridge anyways. I’m literally DONE with this GYG, it’s not like getting GYG is a cheap meal but at this point I’d rather not eat than eat at this particular chain. update I’m more than half way through my unwanted burrito that was meant to be a bowel and even though they charged me extra for guac I’m still yet to find any… literally wouldn’t be surprised if no guac was to be found since they barely give you any to begin with. Not sure if you can tell BUT IM DONE WIRH THEM!!! I really hope they close because at this point they are charging for nothing!!! Maccas right across would be better, seriously, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY ANYMORE!!! I live not far at all, and most nights I finish work if it’s been a big day 10+ I will Stop in for my favourite— nacho fries with extra chicken and extra cheese no sauces. And every SINGLE TIME the staff are so rude, seriously it is horrible and the attitude they give is feral, it’s lucky that I’ve had a long day and have been dealing with horrible people all day otherwise…. gosh I tell you. I pay almost $20 with all these extras I ask for and every time I see the bottom of the plate because they’ve put barely any chips in them I’m always handing it back saying excuse me you haven’t put my extra chicken in it my extra cheese and I am seeing the bottom of my plate when I have paid for extra plus it’s not even half way filled.. like I’m spending $20 on a meal after a long day and not only are your untrained staff giving me attitude, ur chefs aren’t doing their job properly and ur managers are not supervising their shift nor are your drive thru employees doing their job. It is honestly so horrible to be treated so bad and not only that but not even getting the correct food ur asking for and paying for when you guys are the ones advertising and selling these products. Read moreEvening, my son and I just attended the GYG in Acacia Ridge Qld for our first ever visit to a GYG. Open to the opinion that everyone puts forward and sold, that it’s the best and Authentic.
Well we had an authentic lady that spoke VERY little English, so seemed like wow full character. But sadly it was impossible for her to understand us, we are pure English and I work retail so have a clear understanding on how to communicate with different languages and all abilities, but Felipe had no understanding, zero ability to to take the order, was unable to repeat even the ingredients of what we asked for or what came on a burrito. We finally gave up trying and just said yes to what she said, and then started the order of 2 drinks, which took just as long to simply order 1 peach ice tea and 1 bottle of lift, and we were even pointing at the drinks. So no ability to recite 1 core item on the menu and the simplicity of drinks.
Then came the time to pay and I was beside the eftpos machine and as it lit up to tap, it accepted my card and flashed $79 dollars on the screen and I in one motion tried to cancel the transaction, but it accepted and so I immediately asked for it to be refunded back on and then the language thing happened again. She didn’t understand what I was saying and so she caught a lady as she had grabbed her handbag to leave. She then treated me as though I was lying and trying to get money out of them, asking me for the receipt that I didn’t get given. Then gives me a handful of notes and coins instead of refunding it to my credit card.
