My partner and I went on an evening two weeks ago where there were about 4 female staff working, and the sushi and ramen were quite nice and everything was cooked properly and service was good, the place was clean.
So we went back last week expecting a good dinner again and omg the food was utterly terrible. Service was embarrassingly bad. Hardly any customers in the store but all tables dirty. We had ramen where the noodles were stuck together, hard and not cooked through, miso with cold frozen pork, and other plates that were not cooked properly which we had to leave uneaten. We tried to figure out what was so different to the last time we were there and then we realised it was all men on staff the second visit. They were honestly the worst, and the food was gross and the place was just dirty. It was like we were in a total different restaurant to the week before.
If you decide to go here for dinner, make sure you go on a night where there are female staff working because the ladies definitely cook the food properly and serve their customers much better than the dudes.
Such a ridiculous concept but unfortunately it’s exactly...
Read moreFood is not bad and is good. Our local haunt because we are near. But the customer service could be much much better. A smile or a nod of the head would make a HUGE difference. I am a regular and come every week and they know me but they have never acknowledged me except for one lady. The chefs don't ever say anything to you when they are handing the food to you. You wouldn't even know that they have been standing there with their arms stretched out for the last "5mins" if you didn't happen to turn your head and see them. They will chat amongst themselves behind the counter but kept a straight face when it comes to customer. I'd like to see this place flourish and better overall thus I have decided to leave a feedback. People who come are mostly regulars. It would be a shame if we all chose some place else to go to, when small changes is all it takes to step up the whole experience. Not asking for the world. A smile. A nod, a good morning or good afternoon is basic human...
Read moreOverall I like and will continue to go to this sushi place now and in the future. The biggest gripe i have however is that the meals, rolls and whatever else you might want to get is entirely dependant on what cook is in that day. While nothing is ever bad, you can get something okay one day and 5 star dining the next. Overall worth it however.
The other issue is generally the front desk. I'm not certain but i think sometimes they are short staffed so the person doing front desk is also doing table clearing and plate cleaning out back so sometimes it can be a min or two after you're done before you can pay. Not a real issue for me, but could be for...
