Changed from 5* to 1* cause of recent experiences. My partner and I had been collecting your receipts for about a month to get a few free bbq cheeseburgers at once like we usually would do. When we went to redeem the 10 receipts we had each spent 30mins filling out we found out that the offer had changed. We were incorrectly told the receipts now entitled us to get a free whopper, small chips and small coke from each voucher. We stood there waiting while the guy put in each code until the manager walked past and pointed out that it was a free small chips and small coke with each whopper we purchased. She nonchalantly told us the total was already about $64 and we were aghast!!!
Since we had wasted 30mins each filling out feedback forms where we gave hungry jacks the best ratings possible (which I now wish I could change to the worst) I asked if we could at least get a freesmall drink or chips, especially since the cashier had told us each receipt entitled us to a free whopper, small chips and small drink but the manager wouldn't even give us a friggin small chips or drink. It was at this point I realised a huge line had built up behind us and was nice enough to still purchase 2 BBQ cheeseburgers. Afterwards my partner was like "you are better than me suger, I'd have left and not gotten anything cause of that bs".
You've lost 2 regular customers because of this, we'll be going to Maccas now. And I thought I'd never have...
Read morePossibly the worst hungry jacks in Brisbane 1st time through drive through - waited 40 mins in line and even the guy behind us got out of his car to knock on the window to ask what was taking so long. The girl brought our order and it was the wrong order we also told her we hadnât even paid yet. She came again then charged us for the wrong meal and then came back 10 mins later and brought us our meal finally. Next people just blasted off didnât even wait to pay for theirs or get their food as wait was just way too long
2nd time around went through drive through with my mum and this time took 20 mins through drive through. 20 mins less than the first time however still such a long wait, I have no idea what takes so long as it wasnât just inside
3rd time - today, just went through drive through and ordered two meals and received one. Then told the girl I ordered two and she said her screen was broken and Iâd need to go around to order again. I told her no pickles on one burger and pickles on the other. Didnât receive the second order yet somehow still got pickles also on the meal, absolute joke. Only good thing this time was a nice male kid taking payment. Last window is...
Read moreThe experience started with the electronic ordering kiosks that responded to user choices only eventually, or not at all. This gave frustrated walk-in customers plenty of time to survey the overflowing rubbish bins and food-smeared tables (which were unsurprisingly empty). Ordering at the counter did not seem logistically possible as the very few staff there (most likely the problem) were concentrating on the drive-through lane or, trying to decipher whose meal was in which bag. Food delivery prioritised similarly, we received our room-temperature meals later that afternoon. We had neither the patience nor the inclination to dwell there any longer to attempt to have them replaced, instead choosing to consume them outside in the "play area" where there seemed to be slightly less rubbish (our suggestions at emptying the bins having been disregarded.) Upon seating ourselves out there, a broken outdoor speaker attempting to render techno music loud enough to drown any attempt at complaint instead made a series of noises like a duck being strangled, lending further to the general ambience.
I would recommend starvation as a credible alternative. Worst HJ I've...
