Visited on Father’s Day. Made a booking and was told it was a busy night so they had a 2.5 hours seating period. When we arrived, we had our food ordered after 20 minutes. Waited 45 minutes for majority of our dishes to be brought out. 3 dishes were still missing so we asked after 15 minutes. Was told they will check and didn’t hear back. Asked again 15 minutes about the 3 dishes and was told again that it will be brought out when it is ready. 10 more minutes, asked for our 3 dishes again and still nothing. By now, everything at our table was eaten and waiters were clearing our table, so we headed to the counter to just cancel our remaining order and pay. We were told we couldn’t cancel one of the 3 dishes because it as already being made. We explained our table is being cleared already. Again we were told we could not cancel one of the 3 orders. Argued with us that if we wanted to cancel we had to tell them earlier. Even though we tried explaining that we had been reminding them about the 3 orders over the 45 minutes, and our table being cleared, we were bluntly dismissed and again told we could not cancel the 1 double size order. We were told “you have to understand it’s a very busy night tonight” no matter how many times we explained that the first dish arrived 45 minutes after waiting and yet 40 minutes later with 3 reminders from us, our dishes were yet to even be made. We were forced to agree to just take the order “being made” as a take away and waited some more. We then find out we were waiting for a double-sized order that appeared to be a singled-sized one. They took no blame in any faults and offered no resolutions. My family and I will avoid ever coming back unless there are drastic improvements in the quality of their customer service...

Usually fail to bring out multiple ordered items. Edit/expand: Food started to come out 50 minutes after ordering. After most meals arrived, our table asked specifically about one meal. We were told theres more meals coming. Asked again 15 minutes later about ALL the remaining meals we were waiting on. After everyone who received their meals had finished eating, we asked again about the meals that hadn't come out. After waiting 20 minutes longer and having our table cleared, because all meals that had been brought out had been long finished, we went to the counter to have the remaining meals cancelled. We were told only 2 meals could be cancelled because the 3rd was only being cooked now. We were told that we should have asked to cancel the meals earlier. After explaining that we had asked about the meals 3 times already, over the last 40 minutes, we were then told, "You have to understand we are very busy tonight." Cancellation of the 3rd meal was adamantly refused, and we were then made to wait a further 5 minutes for our now take-away meal, while the rest of our dining party left and we were charged full prices for everything (totally over $300). My girlfriend and I had takeaway from here last night (Saturday). We had 2x Mixed Entree's, Pork Long & Short Soup (Wontons & Egg Noodles) and Crispy Skin Chicken Long Soup.

Decor wise, it seems a bit over the top. Atmosphere for me personally would not be enjoyable if I was to sit down to eat. There was a kids section and they were yelling, jumping, screaming, crying etc. Yuck.

The food was of excellent quality, taste and value. The only thing I could fail was the broth, but a little extra fish sauce and sesame oil out of my own fridge and it was perfect. The mixed entree consisted of a dim sim, prawn toast, a spring roll and a wonton - all deep fried. Next time I'll ask if I can have them steamed as it was all extremely oily and made me feel ill, though this isn't their fault!

The food took less than 10 minutes to be ready, which I would class as slightly above par compared to others. I imagine if your meal was more involved it would take longer, obviously. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Will definitely be making this our number 1 Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant from now on! At least for...
