QUINCYS — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Thought I'd give Quincys a go.....looked interesting inside. I found it cosy, with different areas to sit in. The squab seating is not the most comfortable, could do with a few more cushions. Coffee arrived in a timely fashion, female server cleared the table next to me.... did not wipe crumbs away or clean the table, dispite a cloth dangling from her wrist.... I asked if I could have sugar, she said she would bring me some......I waited and waited.....I then went to the counter to ask where to find the sugar (it was my 1st time there, so had no idea), she was busy chatting to the barista, when she realise she had forgotten....she pointed to where I could find the sugar.... thanks I said....and she promptly snapped out her phone without looking up...... 20 minutes in and she came to clear a table opposite me... no wipe down of table, dispite that cloth she had with her, and the table beside me is still dirty with crumbs on it.... I've been here for over an hour now, she's passed by this area at least 6 times......very slack, and they are not super busy. Plus what's with the dress code for staff in what appears a cool, upmarket style cafe, restaurant and bar, most looked sloppy and as if they were off to the sports field to kick a ball around. First impressions.... not great, will I risk coming back.... maybe I will check out a late afternoon, early evening and see if the service and staff improve.... and please WIPE the tables down properly!! This should be done after each customer...

I recently celebrated my birthday at Quincy's and wanted to extend a very big THANK YOU to the staff for making my 50+10 birthday so special.

The atmosphere was intimate and inviting, ideal for a memorable celebration with close family and friends.

The food and drinks were exceptional, receiving countless compliments from my guests. Every dish was delicious, and the drink selection was spot on.

A special shoutout to Laura, Lochie and Kirra, who were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the night. Their warm and attentive service truly stood out. I regret not catching the other girl’s name, but she was equally fantastic.

I am especially grateful to Laura for her excellent communication and assistance with all the decisions leading up to the night.

For anyone looking for an intimate space to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend Quincy's. The combination of excellent service, delicious food and drinks, and a cozy atmosphere make it the perfect venue for a memorable event.

Had brunch here recently with my boyfriend. The layout’s got a cool industrial feel, though seating can get cramped during peak hours. I had the smashed avo – solid flavours but portion size felt a bit underwhelming for the price. His burger was better. Coffee was smooth, not too acidic, so no complaints there. Service was fine – not particularly friendly but they weren’t rude either. What stood out was the playlist – genuinely enjoyed the mix, which made the wait more tolerable. It's the kind of place that might impress on the first visit but doesn’t necessarily leave a lasting impression. Would go again if I was in the area, but wouldn’t make a trip just for it. Overall, it’s decent, but nothing that wowed...
