Hubby and I have been here twice in a fortnight, once just the two of us, and then on Good Friday evening with friends. Service was lovely; prompt and helpful and very friendly. We ate onion rings, chicken popcorn, haloumi tacos, and a haloumi burger. I had the haloumi and mushroom burrito bowl. The friend had grilled haloumi soft tacos (sadly, she was a bit underwhelmed by this one). They were covered in sauce, which she didn't find appealing. The other friend had the special of chicken schnitty, which he devoured happily. Friend no. 2 polished off the popcorn chicken; he really loved the sauce that came alongside, but we all found the chicken a wee bit bland and dried out. I ordered 1 item from them. A fritzenburger. Due to allergies i asked them to refrain from adding tomato and fritzensauce. Im lucky i checked beforehand, as they added both. Upon trying to call the restaurant, my calls were declined, and i learned through uber eats that a refund will not be received for another 5-10 days. Meaning the only money i had in my bank account, of which i was using on dinner, will be absent from my account for 5 more days. Ive ordered from them before with no hassles. We visited for a quick late lunch and nearly every table was taken with only Caitlin front of house and two cooks in the kitchen. Caitlin greeted us with a friendly hello despite clearly being extremely busy and under the pump. We watched as she managed to continue to serve drinks, clean tables, deliver meals, thank the cooks, greet regulars and take things in her stride with good grace and a smile. She didn't stop for a moment but what was truly impressive was how she managed so well under pressure and didn't make the customers feel in any way we were a burden.
