Cons : it's still not good beans roasted sensibly, aka merlo. A coffee with milk from Tiller will not be ambrosial. They have good pastries and they have toasties and stuff, all typically overpriced. It may be the best cafe in Alderley, and it's as good for coffee as Elixir up at Stafford, with the advantage that it is easier to get a seat and you should get served more quickly in busy periods than at Elixir. I don't know if these devils open...

I had a cappuccino and a bagel. My coffee felt over-extracted, not sure if they use a lighter roast, not to my taste. Bagel was tasty if quite small. All in all I don't feel satisfied with the $18 it cost me for both.

Likewise my friend had an iced long black and eggs on toast. He felt like the long black was again too light of a roast for his liking. Again could be the extraction. His eggs were undercooked and adding a single strip of bacon was an extra $4 on top...

Really delicious flat white and salty, tasty pretzel sandwiches that hit the spot. Wish they had a bigger menu and some indoor seating but lovely little hole In the wall.
