Absolutely poor customer service. The staff are incredibly rude and dismissive. They lie about food being ready. Ordered food from the app which said it was ready. Get to the store and was informed it still hasn’t been made and there’s at least 10 orders in front of us.
When I arrived at the restaurant, the chick working the counter barked at me to not stand in the Oder here line and to go stand at the pick up counter. I stood at the pickup counter for more than 15 minutes being unacknowledged, meanwhile they were more then happy to continue placing orders. Even when nobody was ordering, I was still unacknowledged by the available staff member.
When I walked back to the order counter, someone was happy to try and take my order. I questioned why it said my food was ready on the app but it wasn’t in store, the guy lied and said they have no control over the app and when it says food is ready.
We ended up waiting over 40 minutes for our food and we placed the order at home before driving here, meaning we ended up waiting over an hour for our food. There was no communication about the delay and no apology. The staff were all incredibly rude despite me being polite the whole time.
I use to order yiros from here all the time, but this bad experience has ruined it and I’ll never come back. The yiros was sloppy with the halloumi barely cooked.
From now on I will drive an extra 15 minutes to the delightful Turk, to get an actual nice yiros and friendly customer service. The franchise owner should be ashamed about the pathetic staff they...
Read moreThis has been our weekly “cheat meal” once a week since early 2016 (the day we moved house was our first time there so I remember!) Must have recently changed hands as the yiros taste vastly different and have about half of the fillings every single time, so it’s not a one off mistake. There is never much (or any?) sauce on the yiros anymore and they are dry and hard to eat. The haloumi chips amount has decreased, have gone up in price $2, and suddenly they charge $1.30 for sauce whereas before it’s always been included. So technically the price for them has gone up $3.30! It really seems like they don’t care about their customers at all, and are just looking to make a quick buck. They also charge significantly more for all of the items on their menu if it’s delivery. Why? We aren’t messing up your tables or taking up space in your venue, you have no dishes to wash, the delivery service driver is the one doing the work. Yet they happily pocket the increase profit for doing the exact same thing or less than if a customer dines in. If you improve the product by all means, charge more. But making it smaller and removing sauces and then charging MORE is just shady. We hoped it was a one time thing and perservered for about 4 orders but this is the final straw. After nearly three years, we’ll be finding a new regular. Happy to support hard working family business who value their customers, but this business isn’t...
Read moreThe first time my wife and I ordered from this store on 29th Dec 2021 via Deliveroo, the order was confirmed, we travelled 10min to the store and arrived only to find the staff had apparently not seen the docket print. As it was only 15m minutes from closing and they had already shut down the kitchen heating appliances, understanding it would take some time to restart them and delay the staff from going home, we said don't worry about it, these things happen, we'll get a refund and be on our way.
Seeing the online ordering section of the website tonight, and that the shop provides a low carb pita option (my wife's a diabetic), we ordered two Yiros, one with low carb pita, no chips. After picking the meals up and getting home, there seemed absolutely no difference in the breads provided, even though the orders were clearly demarcated to have a low carb pita. Though suspicious, we chose to trust the fact that the receipt clearly stated it was low carb. Her BSL was highly elevated after eating the supposedly low carb option. Either the bread is not low carb, or the wrong bread was provided.
This review is to highlight the need for your staff to either provide the correct bread, or simply let the customer know when they do not have the bread requested. It's not just a 'fad...
