Rocklily Bar & Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Brisbane City

A mixed review. We were staying at the hotel for a nearby show along with everyone else in the restaurant, so I appreciate they needed to get everyone fed by the same time, but the restaurant was by no means full. The wait staff were friendly and very attentive however they totally forgot our drinks, and we had to remind them we'd ordered them. After an HOUR of waiting for our mains the wait staff asked how things were going, we said we had not yet had our mains and she said she would then let the kitchen know we were ready for them. Diners at nearby tables had similar issues with forgotten drinks and very long wait times for meals, and were complaining, and we were all conscious of getting to the show on time so we'd all allowed 2 hours for dinner, but that was not enough. When they finally came, my meatballs were tasty but my husband's pizza was terrible and he did not eat it. I just had dinner here. I had a rump steak with chat potatoes and seasonal veggies. It was amazing. The steak was cooked perfect, tasty and a good size portion. The veggies weren’t your usual half cooked dank veggies, they were cooked, tasty and plentiful. I had vanilla cheesecake with sorbet and berries with a sauce. Absolutely beautiful.
