NOODLE BOX™ Boondall — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Having ordered my food through ubereats i did not receive my full order. So not only did i ask the driver to go back to the store to collect my missing item. I rang the store and spoke to a female staff member. Firstly she answered the phone while, i can only assume , another customer in store. Which is fine as like any business would be expected to, but put the phone down with out excusing herself first . Then when she did answer it she never excused herself or told me her name. When i told her that my uber order was not fulfilled she said that she would call the driver and get him to return to the store, this was at 8.06pm. At 8.55pm ( store shuts at 9pm ) after the phone rang out the first time i rang again and the same female answered the phone, once again not mentioning her name. I asked if i eas going to see the remainder of my order some time this evening . To which she replied that the driver never came back to the store . I asked if she had called him like she said she was going to which she responded with a " NO" ... not i am sorry i forgot or i am sorry i called him and he hasnt return just a flat out no. I then asked her what she was going to do about it ? Her response was " Well shut in 2 mins so ill get your details and get someone to call you tomorrow about getting the item to me". I told her the reason i ordered it tonight for my dinner was because i wanted it tonight. Once again all she said was that she take my details ( note she only took my number not my name my address or the uber order number) and someone would call then she hung up. Needless to say ill be calling them in the morning not only asking f or a refund of the goods i never received but a full refund......

walking in the door i immediately wondered if my quick decision to eat here was the right one. dim lights can either set a nice mood or send chills down ones spine...the dim lights at this noodle box is not working in their favour. it accentuates the grubby feel of the store. when it came to ordering i opted for the 'build your own' as i have some dietary requirements figuring this would make it easier for both myself and the staff. when it came to choosing my sauce i did have to inquire about whether it had any animal products in it. the response i got was an unhelpful 'i don't know'- fair enough but i know you have an allergen sheet...i asked if they had one and i got a blank stare. within a matter of seconds i had pulled up the allergen sheet on my phone and figured it out myself. now i opted for noodle box because i was driving by, it was convenient. i wasnt searching for a 5 star restaurant or some extravagant meal so i didnt have high expectations for the food. but i also wasnt expecting them to forget to put all the vegetables that i had ordered in my dish...and the ones that they did put in there were scarce. aside from the tofu, they didnt skimp on that like most other places do. so thank you noodle...

This Noodle Box store is located in the Boondall Convenience Centre, alongside other well-known eateries such as Subway, Hungry Jack’s, Guzman y Gomez, and Zarraffa’s. The location is convenient, with ample parking and easy access for a quick meal.

One of the standout aspects of my visit was the speed of service. I was thoroughly impressed that my order was prepared and ready within five minutes of ordering, making it an excellent option for those in a hurry.

However, while the service was efficient, the food itself was somewhat underwhelming. The noodles had an average flavour profile, lacking the depth and richness I had hoped for. Additionally, the chicken strips were slightly dry, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. The portion size was reasonable, but given the taste and texture, I am uncertain whether it would be worthwhile to return.

Overall, while this Noodle Box excels in speed and convenience, the quality of the food left me undecided on whether I would visit again. If they could improve the texture and seasoning of their dishes, it could become a more appealing choice for...
