šŸ²šŸ–korean hotpot… korean barbecue… @brisbane has a huge range of korean cuisine but what we haven’t seen here is korean street food… 🧐✨so what if i told you that a restaurant that specialises in korean street food has landed in @brisbane ?!🄹🤩famous across the world with 700+ franchises, a warm welcome to @sinjeon_au !🄳

we gotāœØšŸ½:

šŸ§€šŸ„˜cheese toppoki ($16): oh my goodness lovers of all things cheesy you MUST get this!!! do you see the cheese pull from this dish oh my lord🤩🤤i just kept pulling bahaha🤣the visuals were chefs kiss the toppoki sauce itself was quite nice! a little spicy but probably cause i’m weak🄲overall, you can’t go wrong with cheese toppoki!🄰

šŸ²āœØfish cake soup ($9): surprisingly, my favourite out of the 3 dishes🄹this was just so… soul warming and comfortingšŸ¤i want to have this on cold nights, if a hug was a soup this is it🄰peppery so it gives a little firey kick, a little salty but if you pair it with rice or kimbap, beautiful🄹🤤loved the fishcakes inside!šŸ¤

šŸ–šŸ³ spam and egg kimbap ($9): can you believe this is the first time i’m having kimbap?! what triggered me to get it? kdramas, iykykšŸ˜‰šŸ¤£i was amazed at how many ingredients they can pack inside one roll oh my goodness, also how beautiful are the colours of the fillings?!🄹🤩this was quite nice! a little bland on it’s own, so i HIGHLY recommend getting toppoki to dip the kimbap in!🤩🄳quite nice!šŸ§šŸ§€

conclusion, i do recommend @sinjeon_au i’m so glad that korean cuisine is expanding in @brisbane as it is one of my favorite cuisines🄹🄰this store is small so be prepared to wait a little while, but for the visuals and taste it’s worth it! in the end, it is just street food so don’t hype yourself up to experience mind blowing food, but comforting, tasty and nostalgic food? they absolutely tick...

Finally made it here to try out @sinjeon_au latest store in Sunnybank Hills 🄳🤩🄳 . šŸ“3/581 BeenleighRd, Sunnybank Hills QLD . It’s not a big venue at all but we arrived shortly after they opened and it was jam packed full of people and a small queue of people lining up waiting for seats too. (No bookings, walk-ins only). With soo many people here for lunch, surely it had to be a sign of great food šŸ˜ . After a short wait we sat inside and ordered via there QR code on the designated table: ~ Beef Bulgogi Kimbap ~ Chicken Tteokbokki ~ Fried Japchae . Service was fast, as you’d expect from a small place with high turn over of patrons. The Kimbap was great, nothing to call out of complain about - just a good solid feed šŸ‘šŸ» . The Tteokbokki was pretty yummy. It’s kinda more spicy as you eat more but a definite, enjoyable kind of spiciness. It was loaded with chewy rice cakes, fish cakes and fried chicken pieces (plus we added extra ramyeon). All in all a very yummy dish - would recommend! 🤤 . The fried Japchae was a soft outer shell with japchae inside. Again, nothing spectacular to call out but also a nice solid snackšŸ‘ŒšŸ» . I think we’ll be back for more and would recommend this place (keep in mind you’ll probably need to queue and wait and come in small groups, 2-4 max - otherwise it’ll be hard to get seated). Food wise, it’s a K-Street food place and true to its name, does some solid street food. As long as that’s your expectation, it’ll be a great dining...

I come here mostly when I’d like to have Korean meals. I’ve known other good Korean restaurants but I like here so much! Also, the menu is quite tasty and high quality and some of meals are available only here.

The customer service is sweet. Especially employees who are all rounder positions are always friendly and easily to talk to them.

Today was a lot of takeaway orders here but all staff worked smoothly and my meal was delivered quickly. I’ll come back soon and thank you so much!

I should’ve asked employees about the size of toppoki meals before ordering my meal. I’d really appreciate if I can see how big each toppoki meal is🄲. Around half a year ago, I visited here and I order a bowl of creamy rose toppoki. However, the bowl of my bulgogi toppoki was smaller than another one despite being expensive a bit compared to the creamy rose toppoki.

I like the taste so much but it would be more helpful for customers how different the size of toppoki meals so they might be easy to consider which toppoki meals they have and expect how...
