Thai Origin — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Firstly, I should say the food here is amazing. However the customer service is pretty lacking. Ordered through menu log at 7:20, and was told that the food would be ready by 7:40. I arrived at the store at 8pm, and was told that my order was nearly done. However, I had to wait till 8:40 before I actually received my food. I understand that they may have been busier than normal on this particular night, but the least they could have done is called to say it will be late, or at least give me an accurate estimate when I arrived instead of making me wait 40 minutes for my food. I have ordered and eaten here multiple times, and every time the food has been great but the service seems to be depreciating. The time before this incident we ordered delivery and that too was ab hour later than what we were initially told, and no update was given to us about the delay. I would have actually demanded a refund today after being made to wait half an hour at their store, however my family at home was waiting for dinner so didn't...

Excellent experience. Brought the family (5 adults and 2 kids) for Dad's birthday dinner. We come from South East Asia, and have experienced Thai food in many places.

Food here was amazing. Service was also excellent. They took a reservation for us 2 days earlier. Staff were very courteous, and attentive to even the smallest details like bringing a new spoon when my daughter dropped hers, and automatically bringing plastic bowls for the kids. Such service has been lacking in even more "luxurious" places we've visited around Brisbane recently.

Been to the takeaways next door but everytime I went this place was usually busy, so I thought it was time to try it. First time! Went for dinner ordered 27 and 28. The food was excellent, authentic, flavorsome and delicious! The first mouthful had my taste buds buzzing and my eyes bulging from the taste.Reasonably priced too at under $40 which in todays economy, would probably give it that 5th elusive star rating. The experience ticked all the boxes, quality, quantity, cost and friendly service. Despite the numerous takeaway orders they had to do in between.
