Overall good service but communication with one woman in particular is difficult. For example, this afternoon I asked for a carton of a specific brand of smokes. She said “oh no, that I cannot do”! I asked “why?” To which she said “I don’t have them in a carton” I then said “just give me 4 packs please”. Again she said “No I cannot, 4 packs is not a carton.” “A carton is this big” as she indicated with her hands wide apart (😂😂 wow!) So I said “just give me 4 packs PLEASE” before I go somewhere else 😳 seriously. It’s not the first time I’ve had a discussion like that with her. Today I was falsely accused of not paying for my food. I walked in and went straight to the food display fridge and I picked out what I wanted and asked for my item and paid straight away. The staff member got my item and I walked out but had them run after me onto the footpath saying I had not paid. I had to walk back in and the staff member checked the last purchase on the till and the security footage and confirmed I had paid. I demanded my money back as I don't like being called a thief. The owners and managing staff have done an excellent job at running this deli. The food is always fresh, milk, bread and drinks full on stock and always fresh. Perfectly made coffee’s too.
