KFC Belmont Forum — Restaurant in Western Australia

Used to go to this KFC alot as a kid (albeit was mostly drive-thru) and loved it, but as a result of moving away I hadn't gone there for a few years. Moved back into the area about 6 months ago and can say that it's nothing like I remember.

First went there about 6 months ago and ordered two crispy pepper mayo flat bread sliders and an orginal recipe burger meal. Ended up recieving two grilled spicy flat bread sliders and a Zinger burger meal. Didn't realise this until I got home (was silly not to check when I was at the store). Thankfully the manager was kind enough to offer me a free meal the next time I came in which I was satisfied with.

I went in again about 2 months ago and had to wait in line for about 10 minutes. I didn't mind as I work in fast food as well and I understand that it gets busy but there was only one person working the tills. When I got to the till the girl that served me was quite rude. Didn't say hi just said "what do you want?". I proceeded to ask her if the store does a meal deal with multiple burgers / wraps and she said "it's right there on the board if you look" (I admit I should have looked but I was talking to my partner while we were in line and wasn't smart enough to prepare d'oh). I was definitely not expecting that answer but I couldn't be bothered dealing with her so I just ordered and moved on. Unfortunately she wasn't wearing a name badge so I couldn't complain but I pegged it down as her having a bad day anyway, as we all do occasionally, so I never bothered with a review or complaint, until I went back in again recently.

Who would have guessed it, they had the same girl on the till. I walked up and said "hey how you going?". Once again I was welcomed with "What do you want?". I gave her my order and payed, there was no thank you and no smile. Once again she wasn't wearing a name badge but I didn't want to ask her name as she probably would have started getting more hostile. This time i was annoyed enough to make a complaint through the online link provided on your receipts. I made it about half way through until realising that I couldn't complain because I didn't know her name. Funny thing is the food was actually quite good this time, heaps of salad in the wrap i ordered and the meat was actually hot not lukewarm as usual (I know, it's crazy). Standing in front of the counter with no one at the counter for over ten minutes and staff see me standing there while they keep serving the cars in the drive through....

Over half a dozen cars getting served and they not even busy because you can hear them all back there laughing talking and joking...

The other times I've been there they always undercut you on your order like pieces of chicken, sauces 9 out of 10 times they won't ask you or even put it in the bag... Couple of times where they "forgot" to even put in the gravy in a family feast...

It basically a scam operation not really a KFC store. Oh yeah I walk out after watching half a dozen cars go past and you know what still no one at the counter I mean I don't think they even do counter service anymore because it always seem like that you waiting around to even put your orders through...

I figured okay if they going to take twenty minutes to get even more order down how long are they going to take to make my order an hour? Basically just drove off to a KFC that ten minute drive away from where I live which is further and... Someone was on the counter taking order! Wow like how it should be hahah From placing my order I got my meal in under ten minutes now...

I went there last night (09/01/21, around 9:30 pm), expecting better quality and service than KFC Ascot. To my horror, this KFC Belmont was even worse. I ordered mixed feast and received 4 sub-par hot&spicy chicken that were smaller than the chicken tenders. The entire meal was cold and dry. I had an upset tummy after having KFC and I'm still not 100% the next day. The young person serving me at the front counter looked like he didn't want to be there. He didn't greet me or acknowledge my patronage (I don't expect a 12 gun salute but hello and welcome to kfc is the norm I think for such fast food joints). The order taking service quality was non-existent - he came to the counter and stared at me n I had to tell my order. He didn't ask what dips/sauce I wanted and instead put down bbq sauce without asking me. He coldly handed my order but didn't provide me any serviettes, which I disappointingly had to ask. Instead of handing it to me, he dropped it in my food bag that landed in the improperly sealed chicken box, touching my food - unhygienic and contaminating I suspect. I won't be visiting both KFCs in Belmont area any time soon as I've had a poor customer experience and awful...
