On Fire Charcoal Chicken Como — Restaurant in Como

Restaurant wasn’t full but staff were busy and lady owner stressed. It looked like they were over run with online orders. Cook was taking chicken that had been partly cooked from a warmer bay marie and finishing it on the grill. After paying, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. The owner offered to hurry our order but clearly wasn’t happy. This review is solely based on initial experiences and I’d suggest, after reading responses to reviews, they need to focus on take away or online orders, not both.

Thank you for your response. Your product is good. Some of the nicest chips and coleslaw around the area. Chicken was a little dry but tasty. The young lady on the till was lovely but like all the staff that we observed, were intimidated and scared of you. The way you spoke to customers and staff was unacceptable. Perhaps watch a few of those restaurant rescue shows and learn from over controlling owners. What training did you provide the young girl? Why were you doing orders, packing food, and dealing with broken fridges etc. Perhaps you should stay at home and let the others...

I just had my socks knocked off and didn't think to take photos before hand.

Ordered the On Fire Deal - whole hot and spicy chicken, rice, tabbouleh, pickles, pita, garlic sauce, a huge chips and a big sprite. All for $38?? Crazy good value.

We also added on the Batata Hara (coriander chips) and... my word. I could eat a whole bowl of those every day. The flavour is phenomenal. Incredibly tasty. We absolutely did not need them but I'm so glad we did. Infinitely better than what the Peri Peri chips at Nando's has come to. Only feedback is to find a way to keep them crispy when ordering for takeaway, were quite soggy when we got home.

Chicken was delicious and juicy. Rice was perfectly seasoned. Tabbouleh was phenomenal and balanced. The pickles were SO good. Really sour and salty. So so good.

If you're digging for chargrilled takeaway chicken and aren't digging Nando's this is infinitely better with the best flavours of Lebanese cooking you can ask for. All wrapped up in incredibly good value for money. We have dinners covered for the next two days. 10/10...

Located next to Canning Hwy, parking can be quite challenging, but this doesn't stop people to come to the store.

The store is small and when we came right after its opening time, and since then more and more came.

The team members were working hard, helping each other as they were preparing one big order of wrap, yet they still greeted and assisted with patience a smile.

As first timer, we tried the whole chicken half lemon pepper half spicy. We also got the bigger garlic dip tub.

Chicken is delicious and I mean really really delicious. Soft and tender chicken and that grill smell made me want to eat more and more.

The garlic dip adds even more flavour to the chicken. I just wish the spicy sauce can have options for extra heat level.

Will definitely go back to try the wrap and more chicken or course.

PS; was planning to add pictures, alas we finished everything too quickly.

UpDATE: so we went back again after yesterday. We couldn't have enough so today we ordered 2 whole chickens and the shish wrap.
