Very disappointing experience. We went there as it was recommended. Discovered that locals are prioritised and visitors are treated with brisque efficiency when they finally do serve you. I have a disability nothing to indicate any type of disabled access and nothing to say the area past the cafe belongs to the cafe where there is the ramp. Old style building had to open both doors to get in. We were yelled at when my husband pulled me up the stairs and it is dangerous to revese direction half way through. When I spoke to them about access they were only interested in telling me about their liability if my husband is injured. They told me where the ramp was no signage inside only one to say keep door closed. The gluten free options were limited and the gluten free bread was one of the worst we have had for a while. No signage for disabled access, yelled at on arrival, no real options for food allergies and expensive. Unless your a...

Checked the other review and thought we would drop in for breakfast. Very disappointed. Asked for ham and cheese croissant with our coffee. Waited for a while before we were told they were out of ham and only had one croissant left so they could do bacon and one would be a toastie. No worries we said. That would be ok. Well we got one burnt croissant with hard overcooked bacon and no cheese and a bacon toastie with no cheese. Staff there were really young and appeared to be a little overwhelmed with full house of customers. Coffee was good and that’s the only reason they got one star. Hope this was a one off and others get...

STOP HERE!! The food is fantastic! I had the bacon and egg roll, and it might be the best one I’ve ever had. The roll was perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Great amount of bacon, well cooked egg, and the rocket and relish they put with it gives it a great flavor. The customer service is excellent too. I was a bit confusing with how I ordered, but the girls were accommodating and lovely. If I ever pass through Coonabarabran again, I will stop here. Mum says her coffee was great...

Great little cafe in Coonabarabran. They do offer some gluten free treats. Was quite busy on the Monday morning when we visited. Being off the main street suggests it's popular with locals. Enjoyed a bacon and egg roll. Bit to much salad onion for me. Easy and happy to remove myself. 😉 Coffee was good. My partner enjoyed scrambled eggs on gluten free toast. There is a ramp at the side of the building for wheel chair access. 👍

What a great place, plenty of space for a sit down and coffee or to enjoy yummy food. We had breakfast of granola - very generous serve loaded with what appears to. Be home made yoghurt crunchy muslie and fresh fruit, great combo. The smashed avacado on toast with poached fresh vibrant eggs was balanced well with lemon. I prefer a little more toasted but yummy. Good coffee and a great pot of fresh tea. Enjoy!

Feathers has become the hub for Coonabarabran. A great place to catch up with friends/family. Spacious with lots of tables and chairs, including separate rooms to sit if you prefer less noise. There’s a lovely outside area to sit on a sunny day. The coffee and food is very good however they run out of the more popular items on the menu at times. Love the feathers theme of the cafe.
