It is with great sadness that I write this review, what was once a wonderful pizza store in a small country town in regional NSW Corowa, has now changed hands in management and by name and the service and product has gone considerably down hill.....I've always ordered my pizza from the establishment called Ricky D's, with never an issue, delivery always available and the pizza's always delicious and hot on arrival....now the company is called Mumma D's, and well to say the service has slipped is an understatement, 3 times I've called and twice delivery couldn't be made due to insufficient staff numbers, but that is not my problem here, I totally understand the difficulties companies are having in this climate to hire and retain staff, my issue arrives with this specific interaction with Mumma D's and subsequently the owner of the business the day after the event....I ordered 2 pizzas one a hot pizza with jalepenos for the adults and one pizza with ham cheese and tomato for my son who is autistic with ADHD who is extreamly particular with food...so the order arrives and I ask my boyfriend to pick it up from the gated reception, the pizza's arrive I open my sons one up and BOOM wrong pizza, I ask my son to try it and he refuses to take no more than one bite stating no mum it's wrong, I'm then required to cook a meal quickly to stem my sons hunger as he doesn't eat at all during the day due to his medication..it's at this point that that I call the store of Mumma D's and I explain that one of the pizza's I'd ordered was incorrect, they explain to me that the order was taken wrong and that they could send me another pizza, I agree and they say well if you take that attitude with the delivery driver he will be requested to turn around and not give me the pizza, I say ok that's fine as I won't be able to pick it up and I'll send someone else to pick the pizza up, with that the phone operator says very rudely well you can come and get the refund instore.....Now the call ends and im left realing...I put the pizza aside and leave the pizza for the following day at 4.30pm when the store opens....so the following day i go to the store with the pizza in hand and am met with what appears to be the manager of the store is this MUMMA D??? I'm met with immediate attitude and rudeness when all I want is my refund, she explains that when I called she was standing by the phone operator and heard every word of my complaint, I'm thinking well then why didn't you take my complaint, she explains I swore at her employee and I know damn straight that I didn't, I get me refund and walk out, feeling well that's the final straw no more MUMMA D'S NEVER EVER...so with regret I'm left to unfortunately leave this review....i would highly advise you all, do not under any circumstance order from Mumma...
Read moreOrdered pizza from Ricky D’s Pizza on the 29th of December, 2022.
We ordered the satay chicken (small), garlic (small) and BBQ meat lovers (large).
The prices were high … $13-15 for a small pizza…. We understand Corowa is a small town that may not be in close proximity to affordable ingredients, but these prices are still a little high. The size of the small pizza was extremely small. I would feel deceived if I had ordered this without seeing the pan sizes in person.
Most of the toppings, especially the cheese, were piled in the middle, not spread out evenly. The BBQ meat lovers lacked flavour… needs more BBQ sauce and less ham. The garlic and satay chicken pizzas were enjoyable to eat. Some of the edges were burnt. The pizzas were also a little greasy, probably due to too much cheese or the quality of the cheese. Maybe look into using a low moisture cheese.
The store was clean and appeared hygienic. The service was fine. The wait time was approximately 20 minutes, which wasn’t a concern for us. Indoor seating was available. We noticed most of the staff were young, which we will take into consideration. Practice makes perfect!
Will we order pizza from here again? We would give them another chance but wouldn’t order the BBQ meatlovers pizza.

Read moreMost important factor is the food. Consistently topped and flavoured, doughs not full of yeast and I don't want to sleep straight after, thoroughly cooked as well in a reasonable time. Far above anything you'd get at a big name.
Staff are friendly and they know what they're doing, that's the main things there.
The atmosphere reminds me of any family pizza joint I'd go into anywhere and it makes sense that if you are getting pizza in corowa, you have somewhere else to eat. However the option to dine in's there and there's a tv going usually, so it's almost like eating in YOUR family's pizza joint.
I just moved here and Ricky D's makes it feel more like a good idea. I look forward to working through...
