Driving through on a road trip and stopped here for a coffee and snack hit. The coffee was bang on good, I’ll give them that. Definitely know their coffee products and passionate about making good brews, and previous reviews knocking the price I’d say don’t. The location to freighted in is admirable, and good beans cost a lot right now right across the entire country. If you want good coffee you have to support the people that bring it and make it.
However…… I did struggle to understand the cost of the food, snacks and toasties. These were in my opinion really over inflated considering the choice, quality, size, and mostly not made fresh in-house. The service was also odd. Hard to get a smile out of any of the wait staff and also lack of info given to customers such as no free table water, you have to pay for it, and really really slow service.
Probs not rush back there on the next drive through, will test...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience here. Coffee was average and toasties weren't worth the price. We had to wait 30mins to get the Coffee and toasties..delay was understandable as it was the only cafe opened in the town being a public holiday, but the staff didn't even bother to simply apologise for the delay, just gave the toasties and left without a smile on her face. We paid 15% public holiday surcharge for the first order and did a second order of box of pre packaged apple juice for my toddler. They charged the surcharge again for the boxed juice saying its automatic. Very unreasonable and waste of our...
Read moreExcellent coffee and lovely staff. We ordered a spinach and fetta quiche and a toasted cheese sandwich with chutney and two small coffees, total $30.
The quiche was nice, but I'd probably call it a pie rather than quiche as it had very little egg binding the spinach and fetta - but it was still nice. The toasted cheese sandwich was plain and I'm not sure the chutney went very well with the cheese.
As vegetarians, there didn't seem to be a lot on the menu - but it was during the Christmas holidays so maybe there were less options during this time.
Well worth the visit...
