Ordered takeaway, and instead of Palak Kofta they gave Palak Paneer. Found this issue once home with guest waiting. I went back with the wrong dish and wife called them beforehand to report the issue. The staff was professional and friendly, apologized for mistake and told her to not worry about returning the wrong dish. Wife informed me of this chat, so I went and after waiting a bit picked up the right item. Again, staff were alright.
As I reached home a guy called me and was asking if I returned the wrong dish, and his manner of asking was extremely rude. I asked who he was and he introduced himself as the owner. I told him about the advice passed on by his staff, who asked us to keep the dish as it would not be served to anybody anyway. He later tells me that I didnt pay for the Palak Kofta. This was really outrageous, so I told him..that is he expecting me to pay again for the original dish we ordered, that the restaurant failed to give, for which I had to come back with guest waiting at home, for which I wasted my time to come and pick again? The owner has absolutely no idea about customer service, and never apologized for their mistake during all this time. He again didnt think he should talk to his staff to understand what was happening before calling customer amd asking such ridiculous questions. While the staff were helpful, food was good, this guy not having a clue spoilt what should have been a pleasant experience. Also, him repeatedly asking about the return of wrong dish they gave makes me question if this guy intended to serve that dish to someone else. Really questionable based on how stuck he was with that item.
One of the worst experiences...and worst restaurant owner I have ever come across, who not only thought it was ok to ask these stupid questions by specially calling customer, but also kept blaming his staff saying they should have checked with him before making any decision. This guy needs to get lessons from his staff about customer service and...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreExcellent. Friends stumbled across this place and loved it so I joined them for lunch. Clearly a new place and specializing in Indian deserts as well as meals. Decor is basic but comfortable. We had the Thali lunch plate. 2 curries, pickle, desert, rice and breads on a steel plate. Awesome naan bread. Clearly just made but also a tasty poppadom. We just asked for whatever curries were going. Curries that day were a chicken (I didn't hear exactly what kind) and a lamb Rogan Josh. Both very tasty and a good amount of meat and gravy per serving. Oh and did I say that the naan was amazing!! I'm not a desert guy but I ate the Gulab Jumun which worked really well at the end of the meal. One of my friends got a takeaway tasting platter of the many deserts on offer and later said they were great also. Over all a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Comfortably full at the end. Really nice food. Nice people. I'll be back as soon as I can. I...
