Horrible establishment. How do we make people’s experiences at Canberra airport even worse than it already is? Incessantly upsell through dirty, cheap tactics. The window of food selection is quite inviting at first, but don’t be fooled. I was greeted by a nice enough worker, who then tried upselling me to buy hash browns for regular price. After learning there was no real reason she was offering (i.e. discounted price for buying something else) I was perplexed, and politely declined. Sure, classic manoeuvre. I ordered a latte but wasn’t asked which size I wanted, they assumed large, which was then filled with 1 shot of coffee and about 14 oz of milk. Oh well, coffee experience was bad, at least I get to tuck into this bacon and egg toastie! Stone cold in the middle. Shockingly bad. Just the most disappointing egg and bacon experience I’ve ever had. $24.45 for the lot. Disgusting, horrible place. Way to rip people off. Avoid this place at all costs as you wait for your flight. I’d rather eat the garbage on the flight than...
Read moreWe stopped by Bakers Cut at Canberra Airport before our flight and were so glad we did! We grabbed a sausage roll, a meat roll, and a chicken burger—all of which were absolutely worth it. The food was fresh, tasty, and just what we needed before takeoff.
A big shoutout to Sandeep, who made our visit even better. She is a lovely lady, always greeting customers with a warm smile. It was amazing to see how methodical and organized she was in her work, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Great food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere—definitely a spot worth stopping by before a flight. Thank you, Sandeep, for making our experience such a...
Read moreWorst cafe I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating at. Started with a very pushy upselling barista, multiple times trying to sell me more food. Just take my order. After receiving the food the hash brown was soggy and cold. Worst hash brown I have ever eaten. The burger tasted like it was prepared 15 days earlier, didn’t even finish it. Coffee was okay I guess I had a regular, but we discovered if you get a large you get no more shots. Ends up being a cup of milk for $9.50. Nice! All things up I paid $27.83 for a cold soggy hashbrown, an inedible burger and an ok coffee I guess. DO...
