The service at Andre’s was amazing. The staff were very attentive, polite and quick. The restaurant itself was small but the atmosphere was nice, the music was the perfect volume to enjoy it without it being hard to enjoy a conversation and the decor/lighting gave a welcoming tone to the restaurant. The food was incredibly good. We had the Mafaldine pasta and the pork belly which were both cooked perfectly. The artichoke puree on the pork was a great pairing. Honestly, the portions don’t look too big when they come out but the meals were very filling. We also tried the truffle fries and they were seasoned nicely, not too much just a good amount that wasn’t over powering. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse. BEST MOUSSE EVER! It was sooo smooth, not too rich and a great size for after dinner. The toppings complemented it well. We are absolutely coming back to Andre’s. Thank you for the amazing service. We didn’t catch the servers name but there was a lady on tonight and she made us feel extra special for our anniversary.

Andres’ food was outstanding. The flavours of my linguine were so well balanced and everything was so well seasoned. The charred broccolini with lemon and olive oil was absolutely delicious and a wonderful accompaniment. My friend had the Lamb Ragout and also said it was the best readout she’s ever had, not too heavy or rich but just perfect. Pistachio crème brûlée was to die for. I have been lucky enough to have a good crème brûlée in my time, but this was a stand out. Mousse was top quality too. Topped off by a lovely Sangiovese Rose and glass of Lemoncillo with dessert. Lovely atmosphere, great feel, fit out and decor. Looking forward to being able to get back there and highly recommend to anyone that is lucky enough to go.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We are foodies and eat out at a lot of nice restaurants so we were excited to try Andre’s Osteria. We were not disappointed. The menu was full of fabulous sounding choices so it was difficult to decide. We had two entrees to share, the octopus and the king prawns. They were both fantastic, with us scraping the plates for the rest of the delicious sauces. For mains we had lasagne and prawn/scallop linguini - both cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and with the exact amount of attentiveness. We will be back

Recently had dinner at Andres with some friends and was really looking forward to it based off all the reviews (both online and word of mouth). When we arrived, it was busy so there was a wait between being seated and then our orders being taken (about 20 minutes or so). Our starters came out quickly and were so good! (Chargrilled prawns was a highlight, and the serve of prosciutto was generous.)

There was another pretty lengthy wait between our starters and our mains (about 45 minutes). When they did arrive, one of our party did not receive a side they had ordered. We had also ordered a second round of drinks as the meals came out, but by the time we had finished, we had still not received these. We ultimately changed the order to soft drinks which came out within a few minutes.

Once we had finished mains, we were offered a dessert menu, but as we had such a long time looking at the menu before ordering initially, those of us who wanted dessert, already knew what we wanted so placed our order. Almost 25 minutes later, we were the last table left and the staff were kind of just hanging around. Some repeatedly looking over at us and we realised they were waiting for us to leave. Our waiter ended up bringing over our bill for "whenever you're ready" The desserts that were ordered were not on the bill, and as we approached to pay i asked if they had run out. Our waiter looked through the bill to see if they were there and asked "didn't you get them?" We told him we hadn't, and that they weren't on the bill and his response was "oh well then don't worry about it." No apology. No acknowledgement that there had been many things forgotten. No offer to pack some up for us to take home. The experience left us feeling really disappointed. While the food was overall pretty good, it wasn't good enough for us to overlook the poor service and being forgotten about on multiple occasions, particularly for the price we anticipated a better experience then we...

Early sitting 4 people table 42. $300. A return after an amazing 1st experience, but it is now a bistro, not a restaurant. The waiter greeted us after 5 minutes and pointed to our table. We had to ask which one was it we should sit at. Then Sat for 10 minutes with no drinks ordered. Make sure you DO NOT order mains with the entrees. We had our entrees lifted after after 8 minutes with the waitress telling us “your mains are ready” WHILE WE WERE STILL EATING THEM! We literally got given a smaller bowl for the olives that were left over from entree, and we had our entrees lifted and the plates removed. The mains must be pre prepared with the expectation they will be ordered. The bottle of wine was “stored” behind the bar as they have no ice buckets (fair enough, they are a pain in the bum) but no one refilled our glasses. Eventually had to ask for more of the wine we had paid for. Got given a dessert menu ,….. and then no one came back to take out order. Food was great, as always, but for that money, I get better service and am less rushed at the southern cross club. 😂 This place has potential but will descend eventually into a cheaper bistro that will make great money for the owners , but will not be a classic...

After a mishap with another restaurant, I was desperately trying to find somewhere to accommodate 12 people for my 30th birthday dinner with less than a weeks' notice (and was not having much luck). Andre was able to accommodate me, and the night was fantastic. We had the banquet and there was so much food! The prawns, fish and lamb ragu were absolute stand outs. The timing of the dishes was also really well planned so you could take time to enjoy everything. I had some vegetarians in the mix, and they enjoyed their variation of the banquet. The wine list was superb, and boy did we order plenty of it. Andre and his team were very attentive, the service was outstanding, and I could not fault my experience here at all. We had balloons and brought our own cake, but I will be back to try the desserts (and pork belly) because they looked delicious. If I could give ten stars, I would! I also love the design of the restaurant - cool colour palette and the prints on the walls fit the vibe perfectly. Thank you for saving my birthday dinner, we all had a great time and will...
