Crust Pizza Weston — Restaurant in District of Weston Creek

First time customer and I am disappointed at the service we received last night. I ordered online 2 pizzas at 6:40pm expecting that the pizza's would be delivered within Crust's 50min window. At 7.40pm I rang and enquired about our order. After some checking, I was told that the pizza's were just leaving the store and would be delivered in the next 10-15 minutes - even though I live only 2mins drive away. I waited 20 minutes and still no pizzas. I then tried calling and there was no answer. I rang several more times and even tried calling on my son's phone and no response. The Pizza's arrive at 8:10pm - 90minutes after ordering. I questioned the poor delivery guy or said I was his first stop. What would have been nice was just some honesty and an apology for missing my order in the first place, a reassurance that Crust would do their best to get the pizzas to my house ASAP and throw in a garlic bread or dessert (not that we wanted that). Usually weston crust pizza is our go to place for pizza as the pizzas are always good. However after our most recent visit I am not impressed with their customer service. I placed an order for pizza online and received the email stating it had gone through and would be ready in 15 minutes. So at 15 minutes we arrived at the store to inquire about our pizza, and were informed it would be another 15 minutes which is fair enough. So at 15 minutes we went back up to the counter and were informed our pizzas hadn't even been started yet. It was at this point they actually started making them. By the time we received our pizzas it had been almost an hour from when we placed our order! I asked them if they could give us a refund, or discount or something as it had been their mistake for not printing and starting the order when we first made it. But I was informed this was asking too much, all they could offer was a free drink or icecream. Very...

Best Crust pizza I've had (of the 4 I've tried in Sydney and Canberra).

Couple of things that should be noted, although, they're not the fault of this particular franchise: The app is a bit clunky. There's no real-time updating of the expected delivery times. I've ordered on a Friday evening (knowing it will be busy) but the app still says expected delivery is 30mins. Sure enough, 1.5hrs later the pizza arrives They've just changed their size names. Medium is now Large, and Large is now Extra Large. I can't see the point in this at all, other than it came in at the same time they had bundle deals in their app. So when you ordered the "2 Large pizzas delivered from $34.95" deal, you actually only got (what used to be) medium pizzas.

But, as long as you know pizzas will be late on Fridays or when it's raining, and large pizzas aren't that large, you can't go past...
