Got one of their steak and mushroom pies, fairly oily, decent consistency on the pastry but the taste wasn't as grand as my last visit a few years back. The filling is quite standard on flavours, textures and the overall taste.
Its good for a well organised Local bakery but I can honestly say Mrs Mac's Beef Pies alone would give this visits steak and mushroom pie some major competition.
They are reasonably priced at the bakery, I just wasn't reminiscing over the past great experiences that they had given.

Our 6 and 4 year old boys who demolish pies only got partway through their plain beef before giving up. I shared a beef and potato and a beef cheese and bacon with my wife and they were both far from edible. The bacon tasted really porky and the beef mince was no good.
