Sunset Takeaway Diner & Rosie's Chicken — Restaurant in Dongara

If you haven't tried Rosie's Chicken in Dongara (Sunset Takeaway Diner), then you have missed out! One of my favourite easy eat spots in Dongara, Rosie's sells awesome Fried Chicken and Burgers, along with some of the best Fried Chips and Jalapeno Poppers money can buy.

Stand outs from the menu are the Barnyard Burger for a massive feed, the Pineapple Express Burger for a a regular feed, the 3 Piece Chicken and Chips for one of the best Value feeds money can buy nowadays (try the Gravy!) and the awesome Chicken Poppers and unbeatable Jalapeno Poppers. The Chips are super crispy, the Chicken batter is arguably better than the Colonel's and the Jalapeno Poppers are a stand out.

Rosie's also sell a big range of wicked Chilli Sauces that you can take home with you, including some of the best Chilli Oil Jars I have ever tasted.

The best part about Rosie's though, isn't the food, it's the service. The crew behind the counter are always happy to see you and have a great laugh everytime I go, thumbs up to good old fashioned service.

Oh my goodness, the lunch we had at Sunset Takeaway Diner & Rosie's Chicken in Dongara was simply amazing! They truly know how to make the perfect burger, and the broasted chicken and popcorn chicken were absolutely delicious—110% value for money. The taste of everything we had deserves a solid 10 out of 10.

What made our experience even better was the incredible staff. The people we met at the restaurant were so kind and friendly, making us feel right at home. We also noticed that the locals in Dongara really love this place, both for the food and the wonderful staff.

My family and I had such a great time here, and I can confidently recommend Sunset Takeaway Diner & Rosie's Chicken to everyone. You won't be disappointed with the food or the hospitality—100%...

Needed a refuel on the way to Kalbarri so stopped in Dongara remembering some food stops from last time . Thought we would give Rosie’s a go.

Staff were friendly although food did take a while to come out , looks like it is well liked by the locals.

Hubby enjoyed his Burger was filing and tasty. I had the crispy chicken burger . Chicken was juicy and well cooked, but not as crispy as I thought. More texture of a KFC original with a sour after taste of a spice I couldn’t put my finger on .

Also the lettuce in the burgers was warm and wilted as the hot protein was placed on top of the salad , I think it would have made a difference if the salad was place on top last .

I do have to say tho BEST chips in town .. love a good chip and theirs was crispy...
