Burger Urge — Restaurant in Dubbo

I dined in today. Arrived just before 12. Three other tables occupied and one family looking at the menu, so not very busy. Orderered and sat down. The table was filthy. I wiped it down with a napkin, but it stuck to the table. I persevered and did the best I could. The napkin went black. My drink was delivered and no attempt was made to clean the table, as the waiter walked away I asked him to please wipe the table down and showed him the black napkin. 10 minutes later he returned with chuxwipe and wiped down the table. No cleaner was used and the table didn't appear damp as he did it.

38 minutes after ordering, my meal arrived. The burger was tasty, however it was know where near hot enough and the fries were stone cold.

If that is the best you can do on a relatively quiet day, god help anyone who eats there when they are busy!

I have attached a photo of a second napkin I used after my attemp to wipe down the table and after your waiter cleaned it as well.

Poor form Burger Urge Dubbo. I won't be back.

I arrived to be ignored at the counter for several minutes, then I was attended to by a child who failed to greet me and seemed to resent my presence. I should have fled then. However, the hour and my hunger insisted I press on. I ordered a burger and loaded fries and patiently waited in a booth. Then, I impatiently waited a bit longer. When the food arrived, to my surprise the burger was cold and the fries almost chilled. My hunger insisted, and I ate and left. A mere 15 minutes later, I found myself still hungry despite having just eaten $31 worth of food. I suggest perhaps ANY alternative to this failure of service and attempt at burger glory. I was pretty disappointed with our most recent visit here. While the food was good, our drinks were not made. While it was busy, it was frustrating that none of the staff took the time to finish off previous orders before taking more. When we had completely finished our food and asked why we hadn't gotten our drinks we were told they'd start them after they'd finished taking orders (when we'd ordered them over half an hour prior). We asked for our money back instead, which they were at least happy to do. However we were more annoyed to then discover that one of our three milkshakes Had been made, but had been left sitting on the bench for so long that it was now warm - but my friend was still given it!
