We gave our honest feedback after paying . Didn’t even request nor were offered refund.
Manager at the counter advised this is for white folks (Aussie customers)and not Indians 😠,The staff member words were “we normally tell our staff to advise our Indian customers don’t order biryani” who took the order 😌 Basically ripping off customers by serving curry rice and calling it as biryani, rice was served as Spanish Paella . We got all food 5 containers (for friends who recommended to eat here) to do take away as kids didn’t bother eating. This place is just a glitzy interior an All hype but no quality They don’t understand customer service and take it for granted that they don’t matter. We Placed our order and were advised at 8:20 last order in 15 min, however when questioned last order at 9pm.(kitchen closes) So DO NOT eat ANY BIRYANI as this is NO biryani.
Stay away from lentil (dal tadka ) this lentil is cheapest lentil on market served for a ridiculous price.
Glad kids had lassi to fill themselves .
I hope the owners read this and speak to the staff member from Calcutta and teach him some manners. His words to his other staff members when we turned away “ All Indians, come here and expect Indian food” I’m not sure what they should expect??? he doesn’t know what nationality, doesn’t matter Indian /aussie , whomsoever but respect your patrons who pay your wages.
Dont waste your $$$...

To stay it stacks up globally is an understatement.
Going in with high expectations I expected the world from the restobar and they did not disappoint. From the second we walked into the restobar we realised we were experiencing greatness. The ambiance of the joint was outstanding, the decor felt like I was walking into India itself, the beautiful golden lay out had me transported to a different culture, and we were only scratching the surface.
The service is impeccable, the waiters are lovely and waited the perfect amount of time for tough decisions to be made in regards to the menu. The entrees and drinks came out within a timely fashion, and the mains followed within suit. The food itself was the stuff dreams are made of, outstandingly beautiful. I could sit here all day and give an in depth analysis of the dishes themselves and the explosion of flavour they blessed my mouth with, however I have places to be unfortunately.
Thank you to the restobar for blessing me, if I never eat again I can die a satiated and fulfilled man.
To Eddy Simpson, thank you for doing a service to the punters and making us aware of this brilliant...
