I’ve never heard of Okami Japanese all you can eat before, but if you visit their website they are a franchise company with various locations in NSW, ACT & SA. The restaurant is located on Cobra Street in Dubbo along side several motels. The street isn’t busy, the the restaurant is packed full house by 6pm. If your looking to visit Okami in Dubbo book in advance because they are popular! This is a all you can eat with a variety of Japanese entree, main and dessert dishes. Some of the most ordered dishes include sushi & sashimi plate, chicken skewers, beef carpaccio, miso steak, seafood tempura, chicken katsu, udon noodle, squid & seaweed salad. And all you can eat vanilla, green tea, black sesame ice cream and green tea taiyaki. The quality of these dishes are superb and delicious. While I was initially impressed with the service, our guests on the table slowly started to get annoyed by the 2nd round of orders. We say other tables being served what we order at 6:15pm several times while we waited 45-50 mins for our 2nd round orders. The waitress did a good job collecting the finished plates more than serving food on the table. There should be no excuses that the restaurant is busy, because if your restaurant is going to hold 80+ people then you need to get your management sorted. Another important note: there is a surcharge of 10% on Sunday and 15% on public holidays. All you can eat price for adults $38.80, seniors $32.80, 9-12 yo $22, 4-8 yo $18 and kids under 3 yo eat for free. Duration 2 hours from the time you walk in the door.

Read moreNice food. But all you can eat is not what they mean. You can order one of everything on the menu if you want per person in your all you can eat. Very disappointing and it wasn't because of the japanese food. It was because my daughter couldn't get all you can eat vanilla ice cream that our experience was ruined. Probably the cheapest part of our meal. We ate everything we ordered. Stopped when full and ordered ice cream. But my youngest hadn't eaten a lot of the mains as she is more a desert person. So she left upset and still hungry. I would suggest they change it from being called all you can eat. Or actually honor it. Also when you order a second plate they should ask on some large serves like the spring rolls if you would prefer a half serve. For just under $200 i think giving a child extra ice cream shouldn't have...
Read moreI recently dined at O Kami Japanese Restaurant in Dubbo, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was unbelievably good, truly some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. The drinks were fantastic and complemented the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was amazing, creating a perfect ambiance for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The pricing is very reasonable, especially with the all-you-can-eat option for a single price, with drinks being an additional charge. You get two hours to indulge in possibly the best food in Dubbo. My only regret was that I was having too much fun and forgot to...
