Elston Park — Attraction in Dubbo

A delightful spot adjacent to the main highway through town, however, traffic noise is minimal.

Plenty of shade from the trees. Numerous tables and chairs, however, more could be covered. Plenty of rubbish bins and the toilets are clean (males are at least). Toilets open 6am - 6pm.

The odd Ibis bird is about, but, they don't annoy. Also the odd galah, pigeon, cackatoo, magpie and rosella.

Great little water park for the young ones to play in and cool down on those warm days. Also a quaint little play area for the young ones with swings and the like.

Grass was well maintained and a delight to sit on with no obvious prickley bits.

Two public BBQs and...

For a family on a hot day it was a fantastic spot to be. A smaller holiday park. Wonderful waster play area and pools and water slide. The whole family (13) including 7 kids had a ball there for 4 days. A great spot to use as a base to visit the Western Plains Zoo. Facilities very clean and well supplied. We will definitely return...

Clean park for families close to the centre of town. There is a water park section & a fun playground as well as a flying fox for the kids who can talk their parents into pushing them back & forth. The park has picnic tables, toilets, BBQs and water. There are shaded areas & plenty of space to ride...
