Had the worst experience of my life. The woman at reception was extremely unfriendly when I arrived, and absolutely vile when I left. I booked 2 nights through Wotif, she had my booking but demanded I pay (again) as she said they (she rang the manager) hadn't received payment. I paid so as to get the room key, soon after found my Wotif receipt and also took a screen shot of the money coming out of my bank account. I suggested she contact Wotif. At one stage she said they don't use Wotif, than it changed to, we won't deal with them again as there is always trouble with payment. Got my refund but she rang me the next day abusing me that they still haven't got the money and she was going to charge me again, that I won't be getting free accom and she had been trying for an hr to get my Mastercard details but couldn't as she had no access to my acc (wt the hell). All the while, I kept telling her to contact Wotif. She must have finally done so because I get a sms from her soon after saying it had been sorted and I won't be charged again. When it was time to leave I went in with the key and wanted to know what was going on. We started to argue, me saying how do you not know how Wotif works and her telling me to get out or she'll call the police. It turned into a lovely slanging match after that. Incidentally, apparently Wotif pays the accom AFTER we leave which is why they hadn't received payment yet. I have used Wotif many times and there was never any problems...
