The Monkey Bar — Restaurant in Dubbo

Resturants are like movies. People talk them up so when you finally get there the hype has built up an expectation in your head that reality cant meet and you leave disappointed. We heard the reviews so gave it a shot. Choices were burgers or schnitzel. We took burgers and they were friggin beautiful. Forget that over priced fad import joint burger urge because we found the best burgers in Dubbo at The Monkey Bar. Food amount was huge and flavours sent us into taste overload. Then we did something really stupid, we ordered their chocolate orb for dessert. That chocolatey, creamy, fudgy, rasberry, ice creamy dream that was presented to us tipped our brains into sensory bliss. This was the best dessert i have ever had. I didnt want it to end. I was so full but had to finish it. The staff were wonderful and nothing was an issue to them. Just one thing though guys please burn that oversized connect 4 game to the ground. Going through all the research and seeing all the hype i really wanted to try this place but was very disappointed with there southern fried chicken i didn't get any flavour cause there was no salt in it I mean how can that happen and the chicken tasted like it was fried in old greasy oil being the chicken lover I am I would eat half of chicken by myself but their chicken I couldn't even eat one wings properly I was really excited to try there other variety of chicken but no more chicken from this place I rather would eat KFC but saying that I still one to try there burgers because the place looks cool and the staff were nice and maybe when I went there it was just that time of the day hope I won't be disappointed...

The popcorn was delivered late and was stail as was the bar staff's attitude towards people choosing some of the music to listen to while they dine at the Establishment. It was of me fault of the free to play system that they uitilise, but of the Bar staff and Managment that every song that I wanted to listen to ( even radio version's) was removed from the play list. This sort of behaviour would not be acceptable at any other place, but they think that because that they don't like a song that every one else also feels the same. This is not the case, as an individual I am outraged at the way my opinion has been treated. If more people get treated like this I can see The Monky Bar going out of business, due to...
