The Auctioneer Cafe and Bar located in the heart of Dubbo is a spit in the face to other legitimate hard working businesses operating in the area. Firstly as a Cafe coffee should be your first priority but I'd only describe it as mediocre at best, it lacks the aroma and robustness youâd expect from a typical cafe.
A thing other reviews made very apparent is that a majority of the food is made off-site meaning it is not fresh, canât be customized or as the owner would describe âa little too much for youâ. The reason is being inside the cramped iron maiden of The Auctioneer Cafe they cannot fit a kitchen.
If youâd like to check their menu the official website is unavailable, their Facebook page is mostly inactive only posting every 1-3 months, finally their Instagram which mostly hosts reuploads of photos that have already been posted to the Instagram and all of which do not contain a menu.
The Auctioneerâs management is shady and underhanded. The ownerâs comments to google reviews are lackluster at best, insulting at worst, and for only $155,000 AUD the lovely mess known as the The Auctioneer Cafe and Bar can be yours. P.S....

Some kind of stewed arrangement with diced bacon and gravy⌠my 11yo observed âexactly like dog foodâ. Despite the very sweet and attentive waitstaff, nobody asked about our food while it sat on the table for 15 minutes with one bite each (we both ordered the same!) Finally went to quietly, politely, explain the situation⌠that it was ânot was I was expectingâ. A man I can only imagine might have been the owner came, and brusquely asked what the problem was, became defensive immediately and claimed âwell thereâs nothing I can do nowâ and waited for me to walk away. Gave him the thumbs up and left. Wow. I hope for everyoneâs sake that the recipe/process or something is addressed with this dish - and potentially the response to issues. Coffee was excellent, waiters...

I had the avocado mash up on Australian shaped toast bread and my husband has the breakfast burrito. Generous servings accompanied by excellent latte and long black. Some indoor seating but a lovely outdoor area as well. Bathrooms further down the hallway and parking was on the road outside . We grabbed a cinnamon...
