The Coffee Club Café — Restaurant in Eaton

Ordered online, arrived to collect my order which the staff hadn't even passed on to the kitchen yet! Told them I tried ordering through Doordash first but it didn't get confirmed & that Doordash tried contacting them. One lady told me they didn't receive anything, then the other said 'yeh the machine won't connect so we turned it off!'.. Seems they don't like orders placed online for some reason??.. So then waited in store 15 mins for my order, of which one part sat to be collected until the manager/owner?? I'm guessing arrived, to which the 2 ladies serving me couldn't have made it to the kitchen to hurry my order out faster if they tried! Both meals were very poorly thrown together! The caesar salad didn't have ceasar sauce, was possibly aioli?? paid extra for tomato only to receive 1 cherry tomato cut in half!! Also looking nothing like the pic we ordered from! The salad was full of lettuce that was brown, the chicken was old & hard. Overall I would not recommend this store as this is not the first time we've had...

I got the eggs and bacon with a coffee and my partner go the summer pancake and matcha strawberry iced tea

So my coffee came out first which was expected but I ordered a flat white but received what could have been called a cappuccino with no chocolate, the foam was so thick. Then one of the waitresses came over to tell me they had run out of scrambled egg mix? Scrambled egg mix? What is scrambled egg mix? Just scramble 2 eggs. Decided to get them fried instead and when they brought my food out after 15 minutes my bacon was over cooked, eggs were okay.

My partner's drink was the strawberry matcha drink which she said was okay. Her pancake came out after nearly 50 minutes of waiting and only because I questioned our waitress where her food was as I had already finished my meal. It presented nice and they give you a good bit of mango/peaches? With a scoop of icecream. The pancake (yes singular)was nice and fluffy and paired well with the rest of the dish but definitely wasn't worth the wait. Definitely won't be...

Ordered food at 11.30 still no food by 12.40. Asked where it was as my disabled grandson and needs to eat at certain times. They couldn’t find the order so we were told to order again. My daughter ordered again and we noticed the kitchen staff still weren’t getting our order ready, by this time my grandson was getting very erratic as he was well over his lunchtime. We still waited and by 12.55 we couldn’t wait any longer, The staff were running around the place like headless chickens, the kitchen staff were carrying on with other orders and by the time we were leaving they started to bring food over. Bought the wrong order over then🤦🏻‍♀️ The manager gave my daughter cash change instead of back on her card & slammed the money down. Will never go...
