The Nile Grill and Kebabs — Restaurant in Western Australia

We ordered our lunch with a very pleasant young girl at the counter. After waiting for our meal to arrive a very callous lady stormed out and placed food on the table. We began to eat as we assumed that what we ordered. Moments later ( to our surprise ) the same lady came out with additional food, only to very loudly state “why didn’t you tell me what I threw down on the table wasn’t what you ordered”, much to our horror we apologised as we were confused with what had happened, only for the rude staff member to say “well I assumed that because table 11 was written on the order, this was what you ordered”. Even more horrified at this point we offered to pay the additional charge due to the staff error ( we didn’t have to, but we decided to do the right thing). The rude staff member stormed off, and another member of staff came and we processed payment.

The experience was highly unprofessional, and if I were a business owner and I knew my staff were behaving in this manner I would be mortified that my business was being showcased in the way it was today!

I can only assume if it’s happened to us, it’s happened to others. If the business makes an error in this manner, the staff member responsible should own up, it shouldn’t be up to the...

Extremely disrespectful staff. I asked for a vegetarian meal and simply requested for the food to be made separately with hygiene. Instead, the worker literally cut the meat and with the same utensil decided to make our meal. On top of that, he had the audacity to squat and laugh while another employee was laughing in the kitchen behind. We simply requested and asked for nothing more. When we asked for a refund, he started saying he can’t give me a refund because he has already made the food. He still did not accept his mistake. I feel like extremely disrespected for my beliefs and values. Another kind worker offered to give me a refund. I just wanted that if he couldn’t make it separately then he should’ve told me before when I asked for it to be made separately but instead he mocked what I asked for. Worst service I’ve ever experienced! I don’t normally write reviews but after spending $39 for a burger and chips and two drinks I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, came in on time and chips were cold, walked all the way back from car to ask for fresh chips since obviously these were sitting out for ages. The attitude I got off the cook was shocking, and he was so reluctant to make fresh chips after I spent my money and he gave me cold chips, after having to negotiate for fresh chips he reluctantly goes and says he’ll make me new ones, slamming pans and throwing them in the frier, trying to make a point. Then after I wait there for ten minutes while my burger goes cold in the car I watch him serve fresh chips to a table of people who have ordered after me.
