Fish Bite Seafood — Restaurant in Echuca

I was worried by the recent bad reviews, but it was ok. Just ok. Fish was good, chips were ok. Potato cakes TERRIBLE - bad quality, dry like cardboard. With how quiet it was they would definitely have the time to make their own. Or at least research some better quality frozen ones. And it would be a great idea to get the guy with the terribly unkempt greasy hair to wear a cap, it's very off putting to be greeted by that. I also saw him pick up food with his bare hands. I guess he figures it's going in hot oil so it doesn't matter?

This fish and chip shop was completely disappointing.... We read the great reviews online and thought why not try it, little did we know the reviews were completely wrong. The chips were of average quality but our main issue.... was the dim sims which tasted like they were microwaved and the calamari which pretty much tasted like a rubber, difficult to chew and made your stomach feel dreadful. It's been over 6 hours and I'm still feeling the side effects.

Will not be returning and would advise others...

Hard to place my order when the guy behind the counter literally walked away from me while I was he only customer left in there. Had to call out loudly "excuse me" to grab his attention after he served the lady who was behind me. Then I got the wrong food! Went back to the counter and the lady asked me to change my order as if I ordered the wrong thing in the first place. The food is just as disappointing as the service. Never had fish that tasted so BLAND. Would give 0...
