On a trip to ettalong beach for the day, I went with my wife to Lords of Pour after receiving a pretty high recommendation from a friend. "Lord bae roll is the best bacon and egg roll" so I had some pretty high expectations.

We got there, nice small quiet place, really relaxed vibe, very much my kinda scene.

I ordered a flat white and my wife had an iced chai. Both were really lovely.

Food wise I had to have the Lord bae roll. After some deliberation I've decided it deserves a solid 10/10. My friend was right. It's the best bacon and egg roll. It had rocket and jalapeƱo relish. This really made it stand out from the crowd in terms of flavour. I've done reviews on bacon and egg rolls before but this really is the best one I've found.

My wife ordered Vegemite on seeded sourdough toast with sliced avo on it. Looked really nice and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

My wife then ordered a brownie from their cake cabinet and said "it's the perfect amount of fudgeyness with massive chocolate chunks in it. No nuts. Ive never had any better"

After we finished what was a really great breakfast, we walked to ettalong beach which was a 5 minute walk away, so a great location is another thing to add to the list.

Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely return. I'd even drive out of my way for one of these...

Whilst on a weekend to the Central Coast, we were recommended to visit Lords of Pour in Ettalong for coffee. It is a cafe retail space serving specialty coffee, brunch and also selling wines, craft beers and coffee beans in the retail space.

The cafe is a quaint little house with indoor seating, a few benches out the front and a bar out back. The place has a Melbourne vibe to it with its art, which is Uber cool snd the whole place has a trendy vibe to it.

Unfortunately on our visit, the place was packed and staff weren’t forthcoming with any sort of waiting list, it was a bit of a free for all so we didn’t envisage being able to find a table anytime soon.

The lady at the counter seemed a little stressed and informed us that the coffee would be a 20 minute wait, but since we’d come all this way to try, we made the decision to wait.

Whilst doing so, we looked at their retail section, which has coffee beans by wood and co roasters, single o, Blanca, catapult and also some filter equipment. Out the back in the bar they’re selling bottles of wines and small spirits.

They use Single O coffee for their milk blends, which we like. In addition there’s filter, cold brew, teas, juices and shakes.

The food menu did look good, with sourdough, bruschetta, bacon and egg rolls, toasties and aƧai bowls...

I’ve been here probably 8/9 times in the last 7 months With family, friends, kids and parents. I really enjoy the coffee here. I hate milky and/or luke warm coffee and I’m just never disappointed here. For me the food is a little bit different to the norm and the ingredients are always fresh and taste amazing. It’s so disappointing reading some reviews that comment on speed of service or price. I’ve had rushed service at other establishments and I’d rather wait a couple of extra minutes to get the quality I get here. If you’re reading the menu and there’s a $ symbol next to what you’re ordering and you’re not happy with that, don’t order it and leave a crabby review. Staff have always been accommodating and if they’re busy they always say it might take a little longer than normal so we take a seat and enjoy the ambiance, no problems there from us. Imagine going to a busy place and expecting a coffee in under 10 minutes? We always recommend this place to visiting family and friends and they...

Would not recommend Lords of the Pour these days. What was once a great cafe. Coffee. Food. Vibe. One of the best. Been twice since change of owners. About 3 months ago. Really average. Decided to give it one more try on weekend passed. Do you have a menu? oh take a photo of the menu at the front here. Was not that busy. Ordered banana bread fresh. Absolutely stale. Couldn't eat it. Left most. Daughter got a Lady Bae. Roll looked like from Woolworths. Coffee came out after food arrived. Left after had coffee. Was en route to friends and was bringing coffees/food so went to Coast up the road which was pumping and ordered there. Yes even Banana bread which was great. Goodluck to the new owners but think there is more than luck needed here. What a disappointing experience as the previous team who ran this place did such an amazing job and created such a vibe and the great food that was lacking on the Coast.
