What a shocking experience! I'm only giving one star because you can't give 0!!! Just ordered two takeaway pizzas (a margarita and a siciliana) and a garlic bread. Fifty eight dollars and an hours wait later we received a pretty standard Margherita pizza, nothing special about it and a shockingly unsatisfactory Siciliana pizza, a pizza that should have been topped with anchovies, olives, chilli flakes and we also ordered extra ham and artichokes for extra $$$. What we received was a pizza topped with 5 olives in total, what appeared to be a quarter of an artichoke sliced up, 3 anchovies and no chilli flakes. The garlic bread was literally 3 slices of bread with some garlic and butter on it, which considering it costs 5.90 was a bit of a rip off... but hey it's garlic bread... whatever. Worst of all, the pizza and garlic bread arrived cold and tasted like cardboard biting into it. I don't usually call up to complain about these things but I thought I'd give them a chance to explain or redeem themselves. Once finally speaking to a manager on the phone about the disappointment in the pizza we received for the price we paid I was treated with rudeness, arrogance and was told they use quality ingredients so that is why they justify putting so little on the pizza and this was "simply the best they could do" and hung up on! For a $20 a pizza you would hope its quality ingredients , but that doesn't mean it justifies you putting absolutely nothing on the pizza!!! Well Napoli pizza if this is the "best" you can do then as a first time customer this will be the last time I will be expecting your "best". I wouldn't have minded a cold, disappointing pizza if I was at least treated with respect... Do yourselves a favour and order Crust pizza or ANYWHERE else if you want to actually receive what you pay for! First and last time...
Read moreI made the mistake of ordering pizza for a group for dinner from this restaurant through Uber Eats. It ended up being a disaster having to wait over two hours for the food to arrive and a complete breakdown in communication on the order.
As the restaurant was doing its own deliveries, there was basically no updating of progress on the order through the Uber Eats app. On top of this, the phone number the restaurant had linked through the app for direct contact was either not being answered or was incorrect.
So after seeing delivery deadline after deadline not being met, I tracked down another phone number for the restaurant. Already 30 mins after the initial latest possible delivery time had elapsed, I was assured the pizzas were on their way and we are about 5 mins drive away from the restaurant. No apology on the already significant delay. Then 30 mins later with still no pizzas, I call again where finally I am given an apology when it dawns on the manager that the order was submitted two hours earlier.
I understand places can be busy on a Friday night but this was appalling customer service. One would think that maybe after this, the restaurant would offer perhaps a free garlic bread or a bottle of soft drink or some sort of refund for the inconvenience cause. Ah no, I get given a vague offer of some discount for a future order. Well, I don’t think I’ll be doing that after this experience.
A shame because the pizza is decent. But I’d rather spend my money with a place that actually wants the business. Some of the other reviews calling out delivery times make a lot...
Read moreOrdered to pick up, arrived at restaurant to collect - they had sent our order for delivery (not sure how with no address provided) and had to get the driver back to restaurant. The food was pretty mediocre, ordered a bruschetta, a tomato salad, a pizza, a pasta and a garlic bread. The bread was burnt for the bruschetta, and the tomato’s were hard and clearly not ready to be eaten (also looked nothing like the photos advertised) which made the salad pretty sad. The pizza was cold and the garlic bread costs $6 for 4 slices of SOGGY - falling apart sourdough. The only dish that wasn’t completely disappointing was the pasta but yet also nothing special. I’m sure it may be different eating in the restaurant and that takeaway/pick up orders are usually not as good as eating in but still, it’s expensive and not worth the money at all, don’t order...
