The pizza is simply 5 star - all the way from the base to the ingredients and how they come together. I don’t remember having anything like this for a very long time. Specifically recommend the TARTUFINA PIZZA: Mozzarella, mushrooms, olives, garlic and truffle oil. Moving on from the pizza, which set a high bar indeed, the Eggplant parmigiana easily superseded the pizza in delivering an explosion of flavours. 6 star without any reservations. A silky layer of eggplant, a sweet and savory thick tomato sauce, and enough melty cheese to get that quintessential cheese pull but not too much that it weighs the whole thing down. It was decadent but not greasy, saucy but not soggy. Specifically recommend the PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE: Sliced eggplant filling, layered with fresh fiordilatte cheese, napoletana tomato sauce, basil, parmesan cheese then baked. The lasagna couldn’t compete with the Pizza and Parmigiana but was perfectly satisfactory. The Tiramisu was raved about all on the table as was the Cannoli but the Cannoli filling was a bit too sweet. Recommendation: TARTUFINA PIZZA MARGARITA PIZZA PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE: TIRAMISU

I typically don't write reviews, even when the food and service are exceptional and deserving of praise. However, my experience today unfortunately fell short. Our large table ordered a variety of appetisers, including the gamberoni al forno (which had a great taste) and a mix of Italian salumi that was decent. The pizzas were enjoyable, but the toppings like the prawns seemed lacking freshness. The lasagna appeared badly microwaved, the fusilli with calamari and prawns lacked flavour and was overly spicy, and the lamb shoulder, while okay in taste, was dry and overcooked. The beer was room temperature 😢😢 The waiter she was really friendly and make as really feeling well.. The cherry on top of the cake was that the pizza chef bring us a pizza desert and says in Italian that sorry guys but it’s 8.30 and and we are closing.. so literally the pizza arrive 2 minutes after we ordered .. while we were still eating main courses 🤔🤔 I can’t say I would recommend, but pls try to improve, we are Italian and we should provide authentic Italian food … ciao

Located just inside the hotel guest entrance of the Galleria, the atmosphere was beautiful surrounded by greenery. We hadn’t made a booking on a busy Saturday night so the friendly staff let us know that takeaway was our only option which was no a problem seen as there are lots of public tables to sit and eat at further into the Galleria. We ordered the Prosciutto pizza to share and it was ready in just over 10 minutes which was amazing! The pizza dough itself was nice and thin and the sauce was tasty the only thing that let it down was the prosciutto, it was tough and so hard to chew that it was inedible. We end up removing it which was disappointing seen as that was the main topping and we were looking forward to it. It might of just been a bad batch, everything else was delicious so I will return in future to try again.

Pizza was delicious. The crust had such a perfect balance of crunch/softness, no chewiness, was delicious! Though, slightly ruined in the centre of the pizza, as the too much wet ingredients added made it soggy and difficult to eat, with toppings falling off. Other items were delicious. Gelato offerings were not traditional (rainbow?) and, would argue, didn’t look like gelato but ice cream. Tiramisu was delicious. Cannoli was yum but same flavour with ends just dusted/coated in different toppings.

Cocktails were good, standard selection, nothing special. Wine list was average and overpriced for what is on offer and lacking information on vintage, etc. Everything else was reasonably priced. Atmosphere was okay, very much the “casual family restaurant” vibe. Not sure why we weren’t offered options on where to sit, place wasn’t near full and they had very different inside/courtyard options.

Service was the biggest let down. Not through lack of it, but the quality. We felt rushed. We took our time ordering and they still rushed us to the dessert menu in 45 mins (we had a 2 hour reservation). Waitress asked if we wanted dessert while my fiancé was still finishing her main! Then asked us to pass plates, then placed them on the table and restacked them in front of us! The staff need to be taught better.

Food was good, decently priced, but unfortunately that service won’t have us coming...

Went for dinner for my daughters birthday dinner. She had booked for 14 but we ended up with 10 adults and 8 kids. Our table for 14 was long and short tables pushed together some being shorter than the other. There was two other tables for four in that area, thank God as we would have been jammed in together. First impression my daughter received was they were unimpressed we had more people than booked and should have been inform. But the kids didn't really sit most of the time anyway aside from one baby in high chair. I questioned if the smaller tables we're booked and they said they we're but in our time there only one table became occupied! So not impressed with the space we were put to accommodate us. As to the food, you can brag how authentic it is, but for the prices you charge it's way over the top. I had the penne ragu which was extremely oversalted, lasagne portion was small for $29. Focacia bread was wood fired dough! Wood fired pizza was more dough than toppings, don't get me started about the pile of baby spinach dumped on top of the pizza. So very disappointed with the whole night. You got my money this time but never again. Such a shame you TRY and represent Italian style cuisine but you totally failed...

We decided to try this restaurant while staying in the area. At first glance, it looked inviting the food smelled great and the place wasn’t very busy, with plenty of tables available. When we asked for a table, though, the greeting felt a bit unwelcoming, as if it was difficult to seat us despite many empty tables.

We sat outside, where the heaters weren’t working, and ordered an entrée, which arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, after finishing that within a few minutes, we waited almost an hour or more for our mains. During that time, we noticed takeaway orders being prepared and sent out much faster than meals for those dining in, which made the wait even more frustrating.

When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. The seafood pizza, for example, had only five prawns, four pieces of calamari, and no mussels it felt hastily put together and didn’t match expectations. Additionally, there didn’t seem to be many dietary options available, and the staff weren’t very familiar with them when we asked.

Overall, we spent about two + hours at the restaurant and left still feeling hungry. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t a...
