McDonald's — Restaurant in Forster

Don't go here unless you have an hour to spare and like getting the incorrect food.

My girlfriend and I went into the store yesterday to order some dinner. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes for our orders, which would've been understandable if there were more than 3 other people in the store with us. After we got our food we waited another 5 minutes for McCafé drinks and food before realising that there weren't any workers in the café, so we had to go back to the counter and ask for someone to make our McCafé food. After waiting another few minutes for that to be done, we finally sat down at a table and got our food out. That's when I realised that the wrap that I asked to have no chicken on it (don't question it) had a large piece of chicken poking out the top of it, so obviously I went back and asked for a new one. I then had to wait another 10 minutes for one to be made; mind you, there still weren't any people in the store or drive through. By the time I got the correct wrap and was able to start eating, everything was cold and gross. And the cherry on top is that the cheese toastie that I ordered to have extra cheese, didn't have extra cheese. It was so dry that I ended up choking on it.

I'm not sure if it was just a one-off thing but honestly. I worked at the Taree Service Centre McDonald's for a couple of years and I could've made both of our meals faster than the entire...

I used the app to place my order at 7.08 pm, the drive down to collect took no more than 6 minutes, pressed the I'm here tab on my app for processing my order, I waited an waited, to listen to other numbers ordered and processed after mine, 25 minutes had passed by this time . I approached the counter to ask a team member what was taking my order so long to process, to be told they were waiting on fries 🍟 so durr... now all the food that they bagged already was sitting under the warming lights, a further 5 minute wait for fries 🍟 and wallar,, they called my number, then I asked would the food still be hot 🔥 the reply was yeah as she walked away. And as I had kids in the car waiting for some happy meals , I decided not to fuss and wait another 10 -15 minutes for them to replace the order. So I do not recommend the use of the app when ordering, as your food will be near cold by the time you receive it. For me, this will be the last time I'll use the app and attend this franchise to order food from in the future. So as you can tell, NOT...

I frequently purchase drive through from this Maccas and I must say out of all of NSW I have never come across one so incompetent than this one in Forster. My 3rd drive through this holidays and they get the orders wrong each time. Over the year they have gotten it wrong 90% of the time. You certainly pay for it! They never get that wrong! But they get the delivery wrong every single time! Don’t wait to check either because you will get the dirty look from them while you sit in your car to check. Save your money and go to KFC or Hungry Jacks. This place is not worth it, I am over it after just being robbed again by them. I paid for chips, not included, and they also replacing the spicy chicken burger I paid for a standard chicken burger. They steal money from people and get away with it because you have driven off.
