On our way home to Brisbane, we stopped here for a quick bite. We sat and enjoyed the sea view, while eating - a smashed avo on rye with added fetta, and a dash of dukkah. Generous amounts of avo and fetta, with a wedge of lemon. Delicious, said hubby. He loved his vanilla milkshake too - cold and refreshing; the best on the trip (he said). I really enjoyed my toasted rye sandwich with chicken, bacon and cheese. Tasty, a generous amount of filling,. a few bits of greens, and well-done, crispy bread. My cappuccino was fine - maybe a bit weak for me, but okay. We shared a Nutella doughnut; well, you can't say anything bad about Nutella, and we enjoyed this. Staff were pleasant and service prompt. Nice spot to sit and enjoy a brief respite on our loooong journey home. It is a small hole-in-the wall place, but there are several tables, and some stools at a bench. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break here!

We went for a walk along the beach front and came across Wingman. A great small cafe on the street across from the beach. Great swift service, alot of the toasted sandwiches are already prepped and ready to go onto the press so our meals took maybe 5 minutes! There are tables and chairs all under umbrellas on the footpath and there is a direct view to the beach and Ocean Baths. Hubby had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich and mine (pictured) was a chicken, bacon, Swiss cheese with rocket toasted sandwich. Both were lovely and filling!

Wingman is excellent! We have a long weekend in Forster every year or so, and Wingman is always top of the list for repeat visits!l. We love it rain hail or shine for the friendly service, excellent coffee, yummy bircher and avo toast, ocean outlook, and super chilled neighbourhood vibe. My sister and her hubby have now retired to Forster, and happily Wingman is part of their daily ritual with cute rescue dog Tilly! 🐕 ❤️ ☕️

Good food and coffee at reasonable prices, but very little seating. We were also disappointed with the lack of alterations to the menu. "Could I have an egg with the smashed avo?" "No." No explanation, just "No." They had eggs cooking, and most cafes can add an egg to an order for $3. Unfortunately, this incident meant that we tried other cafes instead of returning here. Still, I give it 4 stars because the food we...
