Beautiful Beach don't get me wrong..
But my partner and I went down for a swim yesterday morning before leaving to go back home from our lovely weekend in Forster back to Gunnedah.
I stripped down into my swimmers and walked down to the water, taking my time to take the plunge into the water as it was freezing. My partner was calling me crazy and that nobody else was swimming because it was so cold.
After a 5 minute swim 100 Meters or so from where the life guards were standing, who obviously saw me dive in. A life guard came running down yelling "the beach is closed!!!! There is a shark out there".
I'm sorry but one or two small signs around the lifeguard van is not enough signage when you walk onto the beach at the opposite end to the life guards.
There should have been a beach closed sign at every entrance along that patrolled beach!

There is an ocean pool (known locally as the Bullring) with toilets and change rooms. Under cover tables and chairs and BBQs. There are also two grassed areas to sit on. The pool has disabled access and there are disabled toilets but only one disability parking spot.
