KFC Gatton — Restaurant in Gatton

Regular customer, i’m happy with KFC Gatton just being an average store normally but today was just excessive.

Ordered 15/06/24 around 5:30pm for dinner. Was a quick in and out, all smelled good and the chips were decent. Got home to find the double tender burger as per the images.

The sheer amount of sauce on the burger was ungodly. The sauce coated both buns, exploded out the side and covered the bottom. The burger was stuck to the wrapper and the total sauce layer was thicker than the chicken - and soggy soaked mess was more sauce than burger. It was completely inedible, so much so that the maker surely knew it before wrapping it and sending it out unless they were brain dead. It’s like they literally dumped the bottle on it to mess with me.

I took it back to the store immediately, and the young guy behind the register was awesome and as visibly shocked as I was, for he had no words to describe the mess other than ‘THERES SO MUCH SAUCE??’

He apologised and offered a replacement, which I declined for a refund instead. The manager came over to process the refund without acknowledging my existence, and I took my refund and my business elsewhere. The people out back need to sort their issues out because day after day they are tanking the stores reputation, and this is not simply a bad day - this is...

Absolutely the worst fast food outlet to date that I have ever been in plus paying the $33.90 which means the only decent thing in the 2 - 3 pc Box LG meals I got the only thing that was worth even eating was the reg potato & gravy serves that each meal came with as the rest was so Dry just plain disgusting on every level .the outlet was dirty used meal boxes left on seats with empty drink cups . The server who I had all I heard from them before they began to serve me was they were going home & couldn’t wait to leave . Once I got served . They completed another customers order . Then a mature lady just standing at the counter not ever bothering to acknowledge her or take her order of any kind . The server at one point picked out a single fry & just discarded it to the floor the servers back was to the customer but the customer could only shake her head in disgust. The server then walks round the back of the serve counter leaving the area unstaffed till finally another staff came to serve & they did diplomatically apologise to the customer for the wait . The whole experience deciding to get a KFC meal & especially go into the outlet to only regret my actions completely which now I know never again to ever use that...

Early Saturday evening we called into KFC Gatton for a 21pc Bucket of original chicken. After 10mins we were told they don't have 21pieces only 12 & we can have the rest in hot n spice. I have an ulcer & my wife doesn't like it, so we had to wait & wait we did, almost another 20minutes. We got our bucket & left. I've gotta say, once again someone has bought a franchise or business to get rich quick, but cannot cook. This chicken was so over cooked & dried out that you couldn't actually swallow it especially the breast. Chicken Breasts doesn't take long to cook at all to remain moist, much quicker than a drumstick. Now, different size pieces require different cooking times you can't throw them in together & expect a good result. Our chicken was a complete waste of money, due to being virtually unedible. Gatton store isn't the only store that has supplied unedible food. KFC need to lift thier game & realise it's not about the money but providing a service & delicious food, then you make the money. We have been burnt so many times from KFC, I don't think we will bother with them any more, I will make my own, we chose to buy dinner so I didn't have to cook but...
