2nd visit: Beef hor fun was just as good and remember but tad too oily. Beef was tender and wok hei was spot on. First visit: 5 stars rating is not enough for this unassuming little place. The owners are from Canton and cook home style Cantonese food. It's very different from Malaysian and Thai. It's not heavily seasoned and doesn't look like much because that's what the cuisine is. It's all about the flavour balance and texture. My partner and I rate this place the best Chinese food in all of Brisbane and Greater Brisbane. We are both cantonese and the food reminded us of the food that our grandparents cooked. Love the Hor fun beef noodles, the wok hei was spot on! The beef was tender and lightly seasoned. Noodles were tender yet firm. Noodles were not very oily too. Best stir fry noodles I've had since moving to QLD. The braised pork knuckle was soft and gelatinous. Reminded me so much of my granny. We ask the lady boss a day ahead for congee (off the menu) and she said it will be here the next day. They was another dish that reminded me off home. We even bought a couple of dishes to bring home to savour. Lady owner is friendly and very hospitable. 100% will be back when in the area. We ordered the chicken fried rice , Mongolian beef noodle , roast pork on rice and duck on rice. This order cost us $67.60. Duck was the only good thing to eat , the Mongolian beef noodle we barely touched as it had no sauce what so ever , the crispy pork was not at all near crispy and the chicken in the fried rice was slightly slimey and just bland aswell as rice. The addition of broccoli instead of bok Choy is just an even more bland addition. I would like a refund and will return all the food tomorrow. An upsetting way to celebrate a special occasion for me and my partner. Very unfortunate. Food will be returned exactly as seen in photo

Lovely service in store. Singapore noodle dish was a massive portion full of prawns, pork meat, veg & noodles. Service was fast & the food was hot n fresh. Spring rolls had plenty of tasty filling & many for the price.

Disappointed

I ordered pad thai, what I got was not. I'm not sure whether they made a mistake on the order or this is their interpretation of pad thai....However it tasted nothing alike, and was prepared with thin noodles instead of flat noodles.

Pad thai should be sweet, savoury and slightly sour. What I received was little more than reduced chicken broth as a sauce. Portion was a good size I will add. I also ordered pork buns and deep fried wontons. The wontons were crispy, so points for that, however was bland. Plus the pork buns had about a teaspoon of filling... of which was average at best. This is not the first time I've eaten here and it's not the first time I've been let down. It seems they have a large menu, however flavours are very samey across the board. Reduce and/or refine your menu so your meals are more distinct from each...

I ordered Honey Prawns.and rice. What I received were Tasteless, bland prawns that were way overcooked and rubbery that tasted nothing like a prawn , they were wrapped in a thick soggy undercooked batter and there was less than a spoonful of unseasoned sauce, no tase of honey at all. If the other stuff was rice it too was so bland topped with tasteless cabbage. it was a bad experience being served an excuse of something that resembled food.

It was the worst takeaway food that I have been served in 79 years. I have not eaten any of the other dishes on the menu so I cannot comment on them. This was my first and possibly the last time that I...
